It should be a double celebration at the Barnes' for Sarah's birthday and Kathy's return. But Sarah is uneasy with her mother and Mike is shocked as Ste produces a present for Sarah. A pumped-up Mike finally has an excuse to throw Ste out when he finds money missing from the shop. Everyone is stunned as Amy launches to Ste's defence, admitting she stahl, stola the money because the family abandoned her. Clearly not believing her, Mike throws Ste out of the house. The Barnes are left in turmoil when Amy abandons the comforts of the family Home and follows Ste into the unknown.
