It was way too sudden. I think they should have made Bellatrix and Sirius duel first instead of her just apparating in front of him and casting the killing curse.

Yeah, I agree, I think they should have made it slightly more dramatic..it seemed to rushed for me

I thought it was far too short, If I hadn't read the book, I probably wouldn't have realised.

It was really rushed, it wasn't dramatic enough, like doctor_banana, PotterGal and DramaGeek said.

Although that didn't stop me from crying...

I was cried too, but again, it was all too sudden. They should have dueled like they did in the book.

I know, it made Sirius look weak. I didn't like it.

It was good.. in the book it was really sudden too.. I actually had to go back cause I wasn't sure what had happened... I really like how they kind of stopped the sound so you could see the image but couldnt hear the screaming..i thought it was well done

it was kinda like- you didnt even realize what had happened, it sorta ruined the implictions of what that meant to harry

I saw it, and I was thinking, 'Is that it?' Wasn't nearly as touching as the book.

You could hardly tell sirious died!! it was bad... and I mean harry didn't seem as sad as i thought he would be.. reading the book i was crying and watching the movie it was like whatever.

I was shocked! At the theatre, I very nearly had an anuerysm when I saw Bella Avada Sirius! That is NOT how it happened in the books when Bella stunned Sirius into the curtain thing. I didn't catch the next five minutes of the movie after this; I was too busy crying.

it's wierd, that in books when somebody gets hit by avada kedavra curse, s/he dies immediately but in the movie sirius died a bit later ;)

i didn't like it at all.

He wasn't hit with the killing curse in the book and the delayed death was just weird. Plus, I thought the arch looked stupid, I imagined the veil to be a bit like a dementor's cloak. Black, tattered, creepy looking. In the movie it wasn't even a veil!

I liked the fact that it seemed too fast in the movie for some reason... maybe because of the shock it causes... but I think they were trying to show how fast something like that can happen. And not emotional? Did you SEE Harry after Sirius died???

No,I think that scene was great. And I liked that it happened fast,the emotion and feeling hit me so sudden...and then Harry....I cried during that scene

What was the point of the veil in the film if he was already hit with AK and ALREADY DEAD? No sense a all was made in that scene.

I didnt really care for it, I think Him and Bellatrix should have had a big duel then Sirius should have been hit by a curse(not Avada Kedavra) And he should have been thrown off his feet in slow motion with dramatic music playing, and when he was flying through the air in slow motion you should have seen his face go from laughing to a look of terror and he should have looked into Harrys face one last time before falling through the veil, and Harry should have been filled with disbelief just like in the book thats what should have happened! Also it was stupid how Sirius called Harry, James

I don't like how they don't voice the idea that he's "just behind the veil" like the books.

Definitely wasn't as sad as in the book, but I wondered if that was on purpose? I know many fans found that part of the book difficult (although personally I don't think that's a bad thing!) and it seemed quite toned-down. That said, Daniel Radcliffe was excellent in that scene. I thought the acting side of it was good, just not the pacing.
