I don't agree, I don't think that Hermione could be as smart as Dumbledore, look at how smart he was when her age!
And I don't agree with those who say that Voldemort isn't smart, I don't think Dumbledore is that much smarter than him ...

Maybe not in the factual category, but Luna is, not to sound corny, wise beyond her years. She understands the world around her in a way that no one else does. She is more in tune with people, is more honest, is more intuitive than others. Dumbledore is smart but can be, along with Hermione on an even bigger level, very close minded. Snape is talented and intelligent, Voldemort is book smart but made some horrible choices. But Luna always seems to choose the right path. She knows what is best to say. She does not let the comments or thoughts of others change ho she is, and I think that shows how much smarter she is than everybody else, in that she knows who she is more than anyone else and does not conform.
