i know james was a prick in school but he was just being a stupid kid, he was growing up and he grew out of it. plus sirius was no better than james in school either, he treated snape the same way, and no one's perfect, snape committed worse crimes than those 2 (i.e. joined voldemort).

personally i prefer james tho, altho he died he's one of my favourite characters
