There was tons of important and interesting stuff that couldn't be in the movie just because of a boring dance scene that was not in the book. They are just trying to feed the whole Ron, Hermione, Harry love circle thing that never actually existed.

I didn't like the way they didn't respect the canon ships and added pointless Harmony scenes just because they shipped them. "Screw canon, we'll do what WE want!" is not an attitude I'm a fan of.
