Personally I can understand if the Twitlight fandom wins out in the movie area of things, because the Harry Potter books are VASTLY superior to the movies, and I can absolutely identify with the many fans that dislike the films for the increasingly major deviations from the main book plotline. Twitlight, on the other hand, is a crap book series with fans that can't tell good writing from a story that belongs on fanfiction.net rather than bookshelves. So, the movies would be on the same level to the books, and the Twitards (that are labouring under the delusion that their books are the best thing since sliced bread) would thus appreciate the movies. Also, knowing how they are, they wouldn't care if the acting is bad or the movie deviates from the plot, *assumes disillusioned falsetto Twitard voice* "because, like, Edward and Jake are, like, soooooooo hot!!" *gags and assumes normal voice* I'm not saying that we should LET them win out. I'm just saying that I can (to a certain extent) understand why the movies are getting such high ratings. Still: Twilight is a fad. Already, due to there being no more books, the fad is passing over. Sure, it'll be rekindled when the Eclipse and Breaking Dawn movies come out, but I am ninety per cent sure that it won't last long when the movie craze is over: people will wake up, slap themselves and think, "What the HELL was wrong with me?" So don't stress too much about the current ratings.

shieldmaiden haha I LOVED your response! awesome! I just want to make sure that it doesn't beat out ALL HP films, because that'd just be sad. However considering another crap movie, *cough*Avatar*cough* just beat out everything ever created, I don't care as much anymore. :) I'll be glad when Twilight is just a blurred memory of the past, HP is here to stay!
