Well, for one in real life I've been put down Von the Fans for dislikeing the series which influnced me to stray from the saga more. Secondly I cant stand the flawless characters everyone needs flaws. I also dislike some of the things that happened in it; Bella getting pregnate as a teen, Bella cliff diveing and putting her life at risk to hear her ex's voice. I think it wrongly influnces the teen population.
But I do like some things from the saga; Jane, Victoria, Alice and Renesmee.
I'm not against Twilight, I just prefer Harry Potter over it. There are some aspects of Twilight that I like, it's just not enough to make it my Favorit book series. I'm sure there are plenty of other Fans on here that agree with me, so Du can't just generalize everyone of disliking and/or hating Twilight.
Mostly because Twilight is made beliebt Von younger tweens (yes, I know other demographics like it too, I'm just stating who most people characterise it as) so they might be against it. That's just my viewpoint though.
I like Harry Potter because it creates a magical world that I'm brought into when I read it. The characters and places are real to me and have become a part of me over the last decade.
I don't like Twilight because it's boring to me now. I used to Liebe it for about 6 months when I was 13. A lot of things in it I find really weird (not in a good way) not to mention, several of my Friends became overly obsessed with in (insisting on calling her boyfriend ''Edward") it was obnoxious. The last book seemed Mehr like well-written fanfiction Mehr than anything. Seeing the 1st movie when it came out was the last straw for me, it just was laughably bad (IMO)
I used to be a Fan of Twilight, but I grew out of it. It was fun for awhile, but after Lesen many arguments over it made me realize it wasn't that good of a book (and movie) to begin with. I only got sucked into the Twidom because of a friend. After I had my kicks with the whole franchise, I got out and never looked back. Granted, there are some characters I still like, even though I'm not a Fan anymore (Leah and Jasper), but even my appreciation for these 2 won't make me jump back on the Twilight bandwagon.
As for HP, I have been a Fan ever since the first movie came out in 2001. I don't see my Liebe for Harry Potter dying out pretty soon.
Are we all supposed to Liebe Twilight and say it's the best book, no competition? Life isn't that fun without a debate. There are HP Fans and Twilight Fans on this spot, both who want to debate. An HP Fan isn't going to read "This is an anti-twilight spot" and immediately recapitulate and agree that Twilight rules. Likewise, if a Twilight Fan read "This is an anti-HP spot" They wouldn't immediately agree and Mitmachen the HP side of the Debatte just because.
In fact, the Mehr people that are against your book, the harder Du have to work to prove it is better. That would be a fun challenge for me and others who are tired of a few Twilight Fans who just say "Why are Du anti-Twilight?" And leave without giving any reasons why Twilight is good. There are many who give good reasons (which we contradict and debate, hopefully in a kind way) and there are some who don't. In this Debatte spot, Du have to remember that just saying "Twilight is better" oder "HP RULEZ!" is not an argument and is not debating. People "against Twilight" just think that HP is better, and there's not really anything wrong with that, as they don't call Du a "loser" oder "CENSORED WORD" for liking the other book better. And many HP and Twilight Fans don't hate the other book, they just think that theirs is better. When they think theirs is better, they Debatte in favor of it. There happens to be a large number of HP Fans here, so it may seem like everyone here is "against Twilight." Just an opinion.

i'm not saying that Du should Liebe oder even like twilight. It just apears that lots of people don't like it at, and i was wondering why? I am sorry if i got that wrong. Thats just what i thought, and ur right Hp Fans do give reasons for liking it. I'm not saying they don't.
She's not accusing Du of anything oder asking Du to change your ways. She's just asking for your reason. There are many Fragen here asking why people like Twilight oder why they don't like Harry Potter. This is the same exact thing.
I'm against twilight because I don't like it's writing. I suppose the basic plot is okay, but I just dislike the way it's written. When I was Lesen it, I felt like it didn't flow, and it took everything for me to finish the books. The Filme where a tad better than the books, so they were at least bearable. I have a feeling that when the films are over, most people will stop liking it so much. Whereas Harry Potter, I've loved for most of my life. I had it read to me when I was little, and I'll read it to my kids when they're little. Harry Potter is something that has been a MAJOR part of my life, and it will never leave me. The plot is great, and I find the book flows really well together. It always had me on the edge of my sitz and I loved it to pieces. I've made tons of Friends out of the series as well. All in all, Harry Potter is just AWESOME :D x
Well, I don't really hate Twilight, but I don't like it either. There are some aspects I like, and some aspects I really don't like. But every time I'm "against it", it's just to piss people off. :D
Firstly, I am a girl. If I had a life like Bella Moan I would have no life at all. Secondly, my life does not revolve around my boyfriend (who is much better looking than sparkle-boy Eddy). I have goals in life other than whine and mope around all Tag complaining about how I am not worthy of my boyfriend. I am independent, confident, NOT perfect, sweet, charming, rude, arrogant and all other positive oder negative qualities Du can think of. I don't need a guy to help me when I slip, when I fall sick, when I need something. I have something called self-respect and pride which a certain someone in the Bücher doesn't have. Meyer may harp on about how it is Bella Sue's choice but it's still a choice between two boys not between life and death and that's pretty anti-feminist to me. All in all a loser book with a huge fanbase. Popularity is no indication of talent. Finally, I don't hate Twilight. I just... OK. I hate Twilight.
