The Internet Melts Over Frozen Casting News
When the fourth season of ABC’s series Once Upon a Time finally arrives, it will include some of Disney’s most popular new characters: Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff from Frozen. But who will portray them on this live-action series? Some names have made their way onto the web, revealing the actors behind two of the three characters.
Anna will be played by newcomer Elizabeth Lail, who is currently an unknown to mainstream audiences–though we’re sure that won’t last for long.
Kristoff will be played by a more familiar face, actor Scott Michael Foster. ABC Family viewers might known him best as “Cappie” from the series Greek. His additional credits include several series, such as “The River,” “Californication,” and most recently “Chasing Life” and “Halt and Catch Fire.”
Elsa, who was shown from behind in the final episode of Once Upon a Time’s third season, still remains a mystery.
While Once Upon a Time features a number of famous characters who have appeared in Disney films, the show represents a unique alternate universe where not every aspect of every character carries over. While we all know Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff quite well by now from our multiple Frozen viewings, that doesn’t mean we know what they’ll be like on the show.
The only way to find out will be to tune in for ourselves when Once Upon a Time returns this fall. For the time being, you can see Scott Michael Foster, who will be playing Kristoff, in Chasing Life, which is on ABC Family tonight at 9|8c.
