I'm always the quiet and forgotten one. Why?

Because I'm not good at anything other than caring for animals. Everypony else has Mehr than one talent, but not me. Twilight is great at organization and very smart, Pinkie can throw fantastic parties and sings a lot, applejack is hardworking and down to earth, regenbogen is Merida - Legende der Highlands and fast, and Rarity is a very talented dressmaker and great decorator. But I'm just the animal-loving one.

I was walking with Bon-Bon one Tag because she wanted a pet, and we were discussing the different choices. "Thanks, Fluttershy!" she exclaimed when I squirmed into a rabbit hole, reassured the parents that their baby would be okay, gently took a soft brown baby bunny, and handed it to her. "You're so good with animals!"

Then, I blushed. But now... I feel like I need to be recognized as something other than just an animal-lover.

But no one seemed to understand. Even Applejack, the most reliable of my friends, told me I was "overeactin' a littl'".

I wanted to explain to her what I meant, but she wuld just look at me as if I was crazy. Everypony does.

I was mulling over this in Sugarcube Corner when a sweet small reached my nose. Pinkie bounced out of the küche with steaming muffins that looked unbelievably delicious on her back.

My friend hopped over to me and dropped two muffins in front of me. "Enjoy!" she chirped. I took a bite. It was just as good as I had imagined. Figures.

I decided to try to talk with Pinkie about it. Sure, she might not be the wisest at times, but she was a good and kind friend.

I trotted over to Pinkie. "Um... Pinkie, c-can we talk?" I asked nervously. "Sure!" she beamed at me. "Let's go upstairs."

We climbed the stairs to Pinkie's room. Gummy swung open the door and the Weiter thing I saw was a flurry of confetti.

"Surprise!" yelled a familiar voice. Pinkie pushed me in ahead of her and I noticed my other four best friends, Rarity, Twilight, Rainbow, and Applejack.

"We know that it's been bothering Du about how Du don't have any other talents than just animals," sagte regenbogen as she swooped down. Twilight glared at her.

"Uh, I mean, how Du think Du don't have any other talents," backtracked regenbogen quickly. "So we decided to tell Du that your other talent is the hardest to be," cheered Rarity.

I was shocked. I did have another talent? "W-what is the other t-talent?" I timidly asked.

"An amazing friend!" shouted Pinkie. It was clear that this party had been her idea, and the others had gone along to make me happy.

I was grateful to all of them, but I was mostly thankful to Pinkie. She really did notice! I smiled, and said, "Let the party carry on." I noticed I wasn't stammering as I usually do.

After a lot of games and dancing, Pinkie brought out a magnificent cake with a frosting image of a bunny on it. Frosting formed the words, "You are the best friend ever, Fluttershy!"

I looked at Pinkie and smiled. "You are too," I whispered in her ear so none of the other ponies could hear.
