I love Botticelli

absolutely, probably the most recoginsable painting ever.

it was so hard to choose!!!!!!!!! but i picked this one because i read a 400 page book about it called, THE GIRL WITH THE PEARL EARRING....and i was like no sh*t! what else would you call it?!?!?

I think that if you walked up to any random person and showed any of these to them, that they would reconize all of them, would be able to name all of them but only a few would be able to name the artist with the exeption of mona lisa. But in my opinion I like "birth of venus" better then mona lisa, I think it has more attitude and personality.

Mona lisa will remain for decades an Icon.. even it is known now that Da Venci has more than one Mona Lisa drawn ...there is one already discovered in an Asian Country and his signature is clear. the owner of this painting is putting it for sale.
