No because there is a good reason for it. If you could edit it people might go back and change it and then people's answers would change.

I've never felt the need, but I know why it can't happen.

I now have to cope with my many grammatical (I hope I didn't spell that incorrectly) and spelling errors.

I can understand why...

... but then again I haven't had that 'Oh Crap!' moment yet

You dont always see the typos till after you clicked publish!

I sometimes forget to check the box to allow people to add their owbn answers. Maybe that should be the default option?

If you are fast, you should be able to edit immediately after publishing. Once you've got people voting though... we lock it down.

For spelling errors, I'm not sure the best way to handle this. I was going to say that you could leave a comment asking an admin to fix it and one of us would know you wouldn't get upset if we cleaned it up and we'll delete the comment after the spelling/grammar was fixed...

Not really "hate",that's just too strong of a word for me..Well yeah I guess I dislike it only because if I see I made a mistake on the wording in the pick or I spelled something wrong and I can't edit then that's one of those times I'd say yes but I understand why it's there and it's obviously like that for a reason,so I guess it's 50/50 for me.
