I've done all three. Unless the typo is really bad I presume everyone knows by now I'm given to typos.

For typo's or if I suddenly thought of something that I should have included in the question / comment - that is if you do not have the option to edit it.

I don't bother if the meaning's obvious, though.

Yep,when I do make a typo,if I do catch it as soon as I finished making the pick,then I'll see if I could fix it..if not then I will definitely say I meant *this word* instead of that word.

I might just say something along the lines of, "oops, sorry, typo!" followed by whatever I meant to write.

I did something dumb not that long ago, actually. I wrote a quiz question asking for what the "T" stood for in a certain acronym, only to notice a couple of days later that it had two "T"s in. The other one stands for "the" though, which isn't one of the possible answers, so it shouldn't have confused anyone. I did apologise for it in the comments though.
