This is a little game I made up just because I was bored. I enjoy it, so I figured I’d share it.
Just a warning: This game is only fun if there’s a spot you’ve added a lot of Bilder to, but enough have been added Von other people to make it challenging.
So, the object of the game is to... get lots of points? And to encourage proper image etiquette.
Be sure to keep something handy to keep track of your points! (Paper and pencil, blank word document, calculator, etc.)
Step 1: Maneuver over to your Favorit spot (or preferably, the spot you’ve contributed the most Bilder to)
Step 2: Look at the “Popular Content” module and click on the image lowest on the Liste (if there is no image on that list, then click on the most recently added image.) If Du have yet to Fan it, go ahead and do so! (If Du like it, that is)
Step 3: This first image is where Du will get your start off points.
• +10 points per tag (possible 100 points)
• -10 points of there are no tags
• +20 points for a description
• -10 points for no description
• +50 points for image credit
(If the image credit is something stupid like "Yo Mama" then no points are awarded oder subtracted)
• -20 points for no image credit
Step 4: Enter this URL in your address bar:
www.fanpop.com/spots/*name-of-spot*/get_random_image
(replace "*name-of-spot*" with the actual name of the spot. Remember to put the - where a Weltraum would normally be)
Award the appropriate points as listed below.
Points: MULTIPLY X2 IF THE IMAGE IS YOUR OWN
• +5 points per tag (possible 50 points)
• -10 points if there are no tags
• +10 points for a description
• -15 points if there is no description
• +20 points for image credit
• -40 points if there is no image credit (If the image credit is something stupid like "Yo Mama" then no points are awarded oder subtracted)
• IF THERE ARE Mehr Fans THAN VIEWS: -1 point to match the difference. Ex: 10 fans, 2 views, -8 points (10-2=8)
• IF THERE ARE Mehr Ansichten THAN FANS: +1 point to match the difference. Ex: 2 fans, 294 views, +292 points (294-2=292)
• +1 point if the image is an icon
• +2 points if the image is a photo
• +3 points if the image is a screen cap
• +4 points if the image is a wallpaper
• +5 points if the image is a Fan art
• IF THE IMAGE IS MISCATEGORIZED (does not belong in this spot) DIVIDE YOUR COLLECTIVE SCORE IN HALF! (Then Berichten it!)
After Du finish tallying your score, Fan the image if Du find it appropriate.
If the Sekunde image was not your own contribution, Bewegen on to Step 5
If the Sekunde image was your own contribution, Bewegen on to Step 6
Step 5: Continue doing this and gathering (or losing!) points, until Du come across one of your own contributions.
Step 6: You’re almost done. (Maybe!) Tally the score on your own image. (Remember to multiply X2)
Step 7: Enter this URL in your address bar:
www.fanpop.com/spots/*name-of-spot*/get_random_image
again. If the Weiter image isn’t your contribution, STOP HERE! You’re finished! If it is your contribution, award yourself points again, but this time, multiply everything X3. X4 for the Weiter image of your own, then X5, and so on…
Step 8: Continue entering this URL in your address bar:

until Du come across an image not your own. That is when your game has ended.
Your score can range in the 100s, the 1000s, oder even below zero.
Go to a different spot oder play again. Record your personal best score and try to beat it. Compare your score to your friends’ scores. Do whatever Du want!
