Lady Tremaine and Drizella then emerged from the shadows, infuriated Von Anastasia's sudden conscience. The King sent his guards after them, but Lady Tremaine created a whirling vortex of magic and fend the guards off Von turning them into animals. As Lady Tremaine prepared to strike down Anastasia for refusing to marry Kit, William ran in front of Anastasia to guard her, but Lady Tremaine prepared to attack him as well. Aschenputtel then stepped in to protect Anastasia and William, infuriated Von how ruthless her stepmother had become and told her that enough was enough. When Lady Tremaine tried to turn the three of them into toads, Kit jumped in and used his sword to deflect the magic. Lady Tremaine and Drizella both ducked and the beam faded away.
The wand flew out of Lady Tremaine's hand. Anastasia caught the wand and transformed back to her true self. Lady Tremaine then tried to convince Anastasia to take over the Kingdom. Anastasia asked Lady Tremaine why they must have a kingdom, and Aschenputtel butted in Von telling her that she didn't think Tremaine would ever be content. Anastasia sagte 'I think Du might be right, Cinderella'. But Lady Tremaine told them both to shut up and told Anastasia not to 'jump on Cinderella's bandwagon'. Anastasia demanded to know if she had any part in the deaths of her oder Cinderella's parents, and to Aschenputtel and Anastasia's horror, Tremaine revealed that she was indeed responsible, and tried to convince Anastasia to kill Cinderella, Kit, the Baker and the King in one go, to take over the Kingdom.
Anastasia was infuriated Von this news, and told Lady Tremaine in a heated undertone 'I never wanted power, Mom. I only wanted love, all my life. Du don't Liebe either of us; Du tried to turn both Aschenputtel and I into toads. But the King has taught me the true meaning of love. He taught me that sacrifice is what Liebe is really about. You've only turned back time, and tried to force me to marry the Prince, and killed our parents for power. That's all Du want above all else'.
Anastasia turned to Aschenputtel and told her that she couldn't go through with her plan, because she did truly care about her. Cinderella, with a benign grin on her face sagte 'Of course, Anastasia, and I am genuinely proud of Du for doing that, I knew Du always had a good herz deep down in spite of everything you've done. And the King was right, sacrifice is the true meaning of love, and your mother would never have told Du that, because she never believed in love'.
Anastasia then turned back to Lady Tremaine in anger and sagte 'I WANTED YOUR APPROVAL ALL MY LIFE, Madonna TREMAINE, BUT I DON'T THINK ANYTHING WILL EVER BE GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU!'. She raised the wand to strike down Lady Tremaine, but felt the need to look to Aschenputtel for confirmation that she was doing the right thing. Aschenputtel gave a nod of approval, and Anastasia shot the wand at Lady Tremaine and Drizella, sending them both to the schloss cellar and turning them both into toads.
Anastasia then put Aschenputtel and Kit back together. Aschenputtel was about to thank Anastasia for allowing her to obtain her happy ending, but Anastasia told her 'Don't thank me for anything, Cinderella. I don't deserve it. I know Du might want to, but don't bother'. The Baker went over to embrace Anastasia but she angrily turned away from him, and sagte 'I can't be with you, William, after every single thing I've done to Cinderella'. She then angrily threw the wand back to Aschenputtel and hurled the seashell back into the King's hand, in an unexpected display of fury. The King tried to give the shell back but Anastasia screamed 'For God's sake, it's just a shell, now take it! And don't Du dare give it back'. Aschenputtel was shocked to see her sister in such distress. Anastasia, fighting back tears sagte 'I will never deserve your forgiveness, Cinderella. I've been a nuisance to Du all my life and I can never forgive myself. I just...I just want Du to know how sorry I am'. She then sobbed uncontrollably in front of Cinderella.
Having finally understood how angry Anastasia was with herself, all Aschenputtel could respond with was a resounding 'Awwwwwww'. She took the seashell from the King, intending to give it back to Anastasia on his behalf. Aschenputtel then walked over to Anastasia, helped her to her feet and hugged her tightly. She sagte to Anastasia in a soothing voice 'Just relax, Anastasia. Everything is alright'. Anastasia then wiped the tears away from her eyes and took a deep breath to regain her composure. Aschenputtel then sagte to her 'I know Du only went along with your mom because Du were under her influence, and I know only too well how sorry Du are for everything. There really is no need to be so hard on yourself, Anastasia. I forgive you, and I want Du to know that Du *do* deserve it. And I promise we can start afresh and become True Sisters from this moment forward. All Du need is a Sekunde chance'. As Aschenputtel let go of her sister, she gently gave the seashell back to her, saying 'everyone deserves true love'. A smile finally crept across Anastasia's face as she took the shell, much to Cinderella's relief. 'Thank Du so much, Cinderella', Anastasia whispered softly. 'Aww, you're welcome, Anastasia', Aschenputtel replied, her voice full of newfound affection.
William went over as Aschenputtel sagte 'And please don't worry too much about your appearence Anastasia, Du don't look ugly at all as far as I can see'. 'Couldn't have put it better myself', William added. 'I Liebe Du for who Du are on the inside'. Kit also went over and told Anastasia 'You're a fantastic girl, and Du shouldn't be sad'. William then pulled Anastasia into a KISS as Aschenputtel restored her Fairy Godmother. Fairy Godmother offered to restore the original timeline but the offer was rejected as they knew they would have a better future. Anastasia was about to apologize to Fairy Godmother, but she forgave her almost immediately and sagte that she understood she only wanted love. She then used the wand to give Aschenputtel a new wedding dress and also give Anastasia and William royal clothes. Aschenputtel and Kit tied the knot and Anastasia and William joined them in a group hug. And they all lived happily ever after. The end.
