All of my life I've wanted to go to places I've never been to. But sadly, those dreams will never become reality. In my wooden baum house, my room is as brown as coffee. I sigh. Flying to my dresser, I pick my leaf bag up and over my shoulder. KNOCK. KNOCK. KNOCK. "Come in!" I respond. The door opens with pixie dust behind it. I see my mother with her usual cinnamon brown hair in a bun. "Good morning, Jessamine." She lays her hand on my right cheek. For being a sixteen-year-old pixie, I still Liebe my mother. "Are Du about to leave?" My mother asks me. "Yes I am." "Good luck on your first day!" She kisses my forehead.

As I approach the red rose garden, I see my best friend, Vanna, water the rose buds. Oh how her silky black hair sways in the breeze. It just entertains me. I fly towards her. She turns around and sees my face. "Oh! Jessa!" We hug each other as a greeting. "Vanna, I've always wanted to do this! I'm so glad you're a Water Fairy!" Vanna is indeed a Water Fairy. I happen to be an Animal Fairy. "Jessa, I Liebe you're outfit!" Vanna coments. I twirl in a cirle for her. My branch-colored dress and tan shoes make my short dark brown hair seem Mehr beautiful than ever! Especially in the wind. I giggle. "Thank you!" Jessa is my nickname and obviously, my full name is Jessamine. Vanna's name is just 'Vanna'. "Time to get to work everyone!" Our leader snaps at us. "Go! Go! Go!" Her blond hair is pretty bright in the sunlight. "Well, looks like I have to leave. There's a lot to do in the lake." "I guess. Will I see Du soon?" I ask. "You bet!" As I watch Vanna fly into the sky, I head to work with the animals.

I arrive Home and everything is fine until I see my mother in the küche with too much frosting on her face. "Woah!" I start. "What happened here? It looks like a hawk came and took everything we own!" I take a napkin and clean her up. "I'm sorry dear. I just wanted to make a cake for you." I roll my eyes. "You don't have to make a cake to congratulate me, I already have your Liebe and that's enough." My mother smiles at me. "Thank you. Oh! That reminds me! Vanna came earlier." I give her a questionable look. "What? Why?" Sitting on our leaf couch, my mother takes a sitz Weiter to me. "She had to leave because her father had just died. He lived on the other side of Fairy Realm." "All the way there!" Now I'm getting angry. How could Vanna not call me? I'm her most trusted friend! "Apparently, yes. She sagte she may not be able to come back. Ever." What? "What?" "WHAT?!" I repeat. "Nononononononononononono." I grumble to myself. "I have to go!" Tears start dwelling up in my eyes and I run to my room in the highest level of our tree. I just don't feel like flying there.
