I don't think the actress was good enough. In the first place, the movie was related to the books, but not quite there. It's like saying 'the heu, hay in the needlestack,' really reversed. I always imagined Arya as someone with shoulder length, wavy, black hair, an angular face, with a lean but proportionate body. Many other people I talked to had the same idea, oder close. Unfortunately, the movie makers went and messed it all up.
