Should I make a Deviant Art account and post my best artwork?

No one will steal your art. Du can protect your art. Don't fear that someone will copy and paste something of yours and claim they drew it. No one really goes on Deviantart unless their already a member, and no one would sink so low to plagerize another artists work.

It is very fun. It's a great way to get your art some attention. I met a proffesional artist, and he sagte allot of artists he knew had accounts on DA. The fanart there is just amazing, too.
Also, i'd want to see your drawings.

Make like a tag that Du put on your work Wird angezeigt its yours so people can't steal it.

I think, honestly, that Du should put only FANART up online for others to enjoy, because no one can make much money off of it, (though it is fun to look at.)
But keep all your serious artwork to yourself. Then people actually will take advantage of it.

MasterOfFear sagte all the wrong things. People will steal your art. But only if you're REALLY GOOD. And everyone goes to DeviantArt because Google indexes it. So when Du Suchen for an image in Google you'll probably see DeviantArt pages.

If you're a professional, then your art might be good enough to steal. But if you're a professional you're probably on DeviantArt already.

Also I wouldn't recommend DeviantArt if all Du want is get pats on the back for a nice job on your hobby. If you're serious about your art you'll want critique to know how to better your art, and Du must be ready to take them, and not take them personally.
