ROUND 1 ELIMINATION: 2019 Disney Parks

The green dress is gone. The tie was more one-sided this time compared to the results in the first round.

So I'm stuck between which mermaid look I like more. Tbh, I like elements from both looks and the perfect Ariel doll would sorta merge the two together. However, I'm more critical of the pink dress. I'm a big fan of the pink dress but the doll is sorta underwhelming. When it came out, fans on social media were really unhappy with the doll and felt it was badly done and they made their own edits to vastly improve the doll and make it look better. Ever since seeing those edits, I haven't been able to like the pink dress doll as much as I used to which is why I'm voting it out here.

But this 2019 one is underwhelming to me, when compared to the 2013 "free scales" sewn onto her tail.

Same as before. But I'm not a fan of the one with the pink dress either, nor the other mermaid look.

What is with her hair on this doll?

@wavesurf - because the doll came out two years ago, it's difficult to find posts from back then when doll collectors were editing the Ariel doll. To be fair, they also had gripes with her 2019 Mermaid look and her 2019 wedding gown and both of those dolls got edits as well, which also looked far superior to the final product. If I am able to find any again, I'll post them!

@LMH5113 - I think the idea was to crimp her hair to give her beach waves.

Still not a fan of the tail part of this doll.
