at first this but now i think that they never saw each other again. I love this tragic love <3 "I'm so gratefull to you,I'd have lived my whole life through,lost forever, if i never knew you". The met each other,something changed inside them but fate didn't leave them to be together. Pocahontas couldn't go to London,John couldn't return back for some reasons.But that doesn't matter because they met each other and their life became better.So It doesn't matter if the go on with another love interest or not.What really matters is that they loved each other forever :) I think this kind of romance, the broken-hearted one, is really beautiful.

When I was little I believed that JS didn't die but they never saw each other again. But now I believe that after JS got better he came back to America and married Pocahontas. Their love was so strong and so passionate, it is possible that they would try to see each other again.
The sequel was not canon to the film because it was not made by Walt Disney Animation Studios, it was made by ToonDisney Studios-the sequel was more like bad fan fiction.
