Not a strong accent just a lite one to show more of their more culture.

Because in the movies, we're supposed to be hearing them speaking their languages- but with the magic of Disney, we hear them in English. Like, Belle and the villagers are speaking French, but with the wonderful magic of Disney, they look and sound like they're speaking English.

Maybe Pocahontas, since she's the only that actually learns/speaks a language other than her native one, but we don't know what a Powhatan accent would be since the language is now nonexistent.

It was annoying to see some of the Arabic people talking with accents in Aladdin but not Aladdin and Jasmine. Of course, Aladdin & Jasmine are the whitest looking Arabians I've ever seen....

^^When I first heard people say Aladdin and Jasmine look like white teens, I went "WTF? Seriously?" because I actually know more than one person that looks like a less cartoony Jasmine and one or two kids that look like Aladdin.

If I changed Aladdin's skin tone he'd look white. If I lightened it.

Yeah, my skin is darker then Aladdins and I'm white!
maybe if they made Aladdin in a (less) racist time it would have been different.

Well, they all do have accents. They all have American accents. But the only one that suits her surroundings is Tiana. My Grandma was full-on lol'ing at Belle's half-French warbling going "Why couldn't they just save the embarrassment and give her a French accent?"
