Disney-Prinzessin Do Du think that Beast's curse would have been broken if he shoved Liebe to any human being (without being romantically involved)?

I'm not sure. I think if he acted really well and learn to respect Maurice, the curse would be broken, but on the other hand, I do realize that love toward woman would be much stronger, plus Lumiere says "That's the girl we've been waiting for", but I don't see why it has to be girl. I mean, he was punished because he treated an old woman very bad, that mean he should learn to love everyone

won't lie. I had a dream once where I was in Belle's place (I'm a guy for all those who don't know). I can't recall clearly but I don't think our situation was romantic persay (though Gaston was trying to get into my pants) Still, we broke the spell.

I dont know. The way she said it, "earn her love in return", it made it sound like they had to be IN love. Because I'm sure Belle "loved" him before she was "in love", and the spell wasn't broken then.

Oh yeah. The Prologue does say "HER" love. So I guess that DOES require that person to be female but nothing indicates that it necessarily had to be a human being.

The way it was worded ("he must learn to love another, and earn her love in return") sort of makes it seem that way. Also, it would be much harder for him to actually fall in love, and earn her love romantically in return. It would require more effort on his part.

Plus, I've read other versions of BatB where the enchantress tells him almost the exact same thing that it says in the Disney version, and he's life "My mom loves me! That counts!" and she basically says "STFU you know the kind of love I'm talking about." And since Disney tried to remain as close to the original stories as possible (without putting in the two sisters) I think they would've done it that way, where it had to be a girl.

I'm sure that no, it had to be a girl. And you know, call me crazy but I think he did love all his servants, especially Mrs.Potts. I feel that he loved them.

I agree with ppv. At the very least, he had good relationships with Lumiere and Cogsworth. And he seemed to be close to Forte -- even though Forte was basically playing him like...well, an organ.

But yeah. I don't know what weird reality the Enchantress was living in, but I don't really get how teaching an *eleven year old boy* how to fall in love would...y'know. Then again... *Is still a little baffled by the Enchantress' actions, as you've no doubt noticed*

Romantic love is harder to earn, so more of a challenge for him, especially looking the way he did
