Every time I ask my cousin what she wants me to get for her, it's either Ariel, Jasmine, or Tinker Bell related. Same goes with most of the other kids I know- kids just happen to like Ariel the slightest bit more than Cinderella. Sorry Cindy!

Even though I want Ariel to win, I'm betting Cinderella will. And it'll be well deserved too- it's a really close call in telling who kids like more between these two.

Only because Ariel's a mermaid

I asked both my nieces, one is 4 and one is 8, and both of them chose Ariel as their #1 favorite princess.

Hmm... I think my little cousin prefers Cinderella, because she has a DVD of Cinderella and not The Little Mermaid, but she doesn't watch that many princess movies, so it's hard to tell (her favorite animated movies tend to be sequels). I don't know though... I've just always imagined her as the princess most likely for little kids to enjoy. I think that children around eight years old slightly prefer Ariel though from my experiences, and that those a bit younger prefer Cinderella. These are just my observations though from where I live.

As a kid, I preferred Ariel to Cinderella. I remember liking both, but I really liked Ariel! My favorite was always Pocahontas though, oddly enough.

Cinderella is generally the most popular Disney Princess of all. Considered as the leader of the group, she gets advertised the most in merchandise, Disney World commercials, etc. She's the most familiar icon out of all the rest. I know a lot of children who love Cinderella as much as I used to. She's known all over the world, and with her kindness and the ability to not lose hope by wishing that things will get better, she touched so many children's hearts magically.

So this summer I have been working at a kids camp and according to them their favorites are Ariel and Aurora...

I certainly prefered Ariel. She wasn't my favourite, but I had 6 of her Barbie dolls, and all the bath stuff they made with her picture on it. Oooh, and an Ariel hairbrush.

Cinderella was always my favorite ( and still is!), but my little cousin Ellie goes completely MENTAL over anything Ariel related...and a bunch of other kids I know are the same way.
