This was always what I got out of it, but I've seen others think she went because she was obedient to the fairies, which made me want to ask this question.

Was she heartbroken? Yes. Was she disappointed? Indubitably. To me, Aurora obeyed the fairies because she thought it was her duty to do so, and avert a war. This is how I've always seen her, though.... Aurora has a noble quality to me, that some people gloss over quite often, by merely calling her a flat character with little screentime.

Um, maybe. In one side I think she obeyed the fairies as she realize that was her duty and she tried to be responsible. But in other side I think she didn't want it and heartbroken, and she just don't want to show it and make argues with the fairies.

She cried so I don't think she was too heartbroken to care. I think she thought that she has nothing to do about it so she agreed .

Once she got to the castle she could talk with her parents about not going through with the betrothal. Simple.
