From what I've heard though, he wasn't fully happy to fire his ink and color department to replace it with xerox machines to cut the cost of inking animation (he only HAD TO because the company was on the verge of bankruptcy after Sleeping Beauty), and he didn't really like the edgy, modern aesthetics of 101 Dalmations or subsequent films because he loved the traditional, colorful, dreamy, romantic aesthetics of, say, Alice In Wonderland and Peter Pan.
While Walt definitely embraced new animation styles (he almost single-handedly introduced color, anatomically correct humans, full-length animated films, etc) he still had a soft spot for and respected traditional animation methods. It was he who said, "Don't forget it all started with a mouse." So I don't know. The company completely abandoning hand-drawn/2D animation and making only CGI films... I can't say I think he would fully love it.
