I really couldn't decide. I feel so bad for both of them. I feel just as bad for Ariel when she sees Eric with Vanessa, and when she cries on the dock, but I didn't think people would choose that one. It killed me to see Cinderella smiling like that before her step sisters ripped up her dress. She looked so cute and innocent. This was her first chance to do something she always dreamed of, and then her dream was literally shredded. She worked so hard for all those years and she really deserved to go to the ball. I feel really bad for Elsa too. She was abused and kept hidden for about the same amount of time as Cinderella was kept a servant. She couldn't trust anyone and she was scared. I'm so happy that they both got a happy ending. :)

Can both still be an option? I mean, I feel really bad for both of them!

It was a bit hard to decide. But I feel that while Cinderella might have had a wore time physically she at lest had the mice as her friends. Elsa seems to have no one but herself, and she hates herself.

Cinderella had to deal with mean step sister and they mother while doing the house work. She did have freedom and friends through the whole time. And the step sisters was talked into ripping up her dress because they thought she stole from them. And Elsa had to be alone in a big room with every thing she needed to live and maybe more even through. To me it sounds like a dream life. When you get down to it you have no freedom, you are scared reason that your powers will kill your love ones, being a reject, and having the birding of being alone. Sounds a lot worse in my opinion.

At least Elsa didn't have to work. She just doesn't know how to have fun. She could play with her ice powers carefully inside her room.

Agree with truth76

@peacefulCritic Cinderella did not have freedom, If she had left she would have been looked upon as an outcast, and she would most likely never get married. She lived in a time where woman didn't work, so she wouldn't get money or food. Her sisters didn't think she stole from them, they did it just to be cruel. The dress was her mother's and it was the only part of her that she had left.

Soo much. That's why I am so unbelievably happy every time I watch her getting the happy ending she deserves. But I feel very bad about Elsa as well. Guhh, can't I just pick both?

@Everyone that responded
Work isn't no where near as bad as the fear of killing a love one. Some people even enjoyed work on many encounters.

Cinderella is almost like a slave in the mansion! She cannot do what she wants to. As for Elsa, she's stupid making herself more and more miserable. She doesn't know how to take care of herself and she doesn't want to tell the secret to her sister even when her parents are gone. She is the Queen and yet she's afraid of Duke of Weselton who is nothing in Arendelle.

I want a "Both" option. I think it's really ridiculous of any of you saying that either one of them didn't have a bad life. Would you say that Robin Williams didn't have a bad life? Think about it. Elsa had depression, she didn't just get it like most selfish teenagers just because their sad or no one at school like them, she got it out of care for her family. She had to isolate herself not because she's "Stupid" but because if she didn't she would kill her sister. She couldn't have just played with her powers because what if something happened to her? She was the heir to the throne. Her parents wouldn't let her do anything because they were too stupid. She wasn't afraid of the duke, she was afraid of her sisters well being and that giant guys with weapons would kill her and the only reason why is because of the one thing she was born with that she can't change. It's like being born gay and your parents tell you that you can't be gay because it makes you a monster. I THINK that gives a person REASON to be upset. Her parents never got her help, once your that deep you can't get yourself out. If life was that easy Robin Williams would still be with us.

As for Cinderella, I do agree that not wanting to kill a love one might be worse, but paradise is a huge extension from the truth. I once had someone say that Cinderella's life was good because she's pretty and we all have to do chores so she's too whiny. This is why I don't speak with that person anymore.

^^ I feel so bad for both too, but I thought 95% of people would choose the both option. And I wanted to see which one would win. I definitely agree with everything you're saying.

Why is Robin Williams being brought up?

I really don't feel that bad for Elsa next to Cindy, Snow, or even Anna. Elsa LIKES being alone. Why is this is as painful as your only family abusing and enslaving you (possibly murdering your dad too)? I mean, it sucks her parents taught her to stay inside all the time but that's not really that bad, especially if A Sister More Like Me is canon- it shows both girls quite happy (for the most part) enjoying their own hobbies while missing each other. Elsa was never abused and her isolation became her own choice once her parents died and she became responsible for herself.

I hope that doesn't sound unsympathetic towards her or anything, I just don't think she's the martyr a lot of people have made her out to be. A lot of this isolation was her own choice. Cinderella didn't choose to be stuck with abusive witches. A penniless girl like Cinderella can somehow leave the only shelter she is ever gonna have beyond marriage but somehow Elsa- a rich, powerful person of influence- can never, ever leave her castle (which proves to be untrue anyway)?

^I brought him up because someone (not going to say who) said that Elsa being depressed was wrong but was very sympathetic towards Robin Williams. I brought him up to make my point across, that's it. I had a friends who killed himself in middle school for being sad and depressed and he made many of his close friends and family want to do the same. Elsa had her reasons too be upset and stayed around for the sake of others. If she left it would have been selfish. I hope I make myself clearer now.

@3xZ yeah cause anyone should know when you have dangerous power to always go outside or play with it. Or play it in a room that is a better idea. That'll be more stupid and is risking lives. And she didn't know Anna that much if she told her she didn't know what will happen. And it wasn't her making herself miserable it was her power and fear. Even through both had an awful lifetime I think Elsa had ten times more of a bad life.

I feel worse for Elsa because she was trapped by herself because of her internal fears, which must have haunted her constantly. Cinderella also had a very hard time and there's no denying that she was abused, but she still had a healthy mind and was able to remain optimistic through her dreams. Elsa was unable to do that.
