They both seem to really love their dads, but Mulan was willing to lose her life for him.

This is a hard one, because they both do.

I have to go with Belle because she was willing to give up her freedom, dreams, and possibly life for him. In the beginning, we see that she longs for adventure, but she stays with her father to help tend the farm and encourage his dream of becoming a world-famous inventor. Then, she literally gives up all hope of pursuing to stay with an evil, temperamental Beast that locked her father up and was going to let him die for a petty offense. She had no way of knowing the Beast would take pity on her, befriend her, or even let her go when she chose to exchange her young life for his. Heck, she had no way of knowing the Beast would let her stay outside the tower. For all Belle knew, she was going to rot inside a cold, dark tower for the rest of her shortened, miserable life! That takes love.

While Mulan does risk her life by joining the army for her father, she DOES admit she also (or mostly) did it because she wanted to prove she could do things right. It was for him, but it was also for what she wanted. While it doesn't diminish her sacrifice, it does give Belle's a boost because, for all she knew, helping her father would cause her to lose her only chance of getting what she wanted.

oh come on THEY both love their fathers but I am going to have to with Mulan because she was sending herself to death one way or the other so he wouldn't have too plus their relationship is one of the very reasons why i adore Mulan they truly had the strongest bond between father and daughter in any disney movie plus i like the scenes between Mulan and Fa Zhou more because it makes the scene when she leaves to fight in his place all the more heartwarming and heartbreaking when Fa Zhou finds out she had left and when they reunite all that more powerful though i wished Maurice was reunited with Belle at the very end of the movie instead of before the climax it was not fair for Fa Zhou to wait till the end of the movie to see his daughter again Maurice had the hope of seeing his daughter again but with Fa Zhou he didn't know if he would ever see his daughter again
