I could see her likeing the kinky, sexy book (I have never had the desire to read it cause it is really not my cup of Tea but I know plenty of women who love it)...

Ugh, none. I read the first and second book, and no one with any respect for literature could enjoy it. The fist book was horrible. It had horrible writing, wooden characters, and no plot at all. At All Plus it was sexist and a fanfiction that had no right being sold to profit the "author." I have no problem with erotic literature, but the series is just horrible. I think each of the princesses would enjoy reading, so I think each of them would see how bad these books really are.

Unfortuantly I know several Women who love this book and are trying to get me to read it (most of them are older then me, but I do not know if that makes a difference)...Then again I think Twilight is a bunch of BS and some of the worst stuff ever created, but I know several Teenage girls and older women that LOVE it....

Well most older, older than thirty, women are used to reading the harlequin romances. So a book like 50 Shades of Gray isn't too far off for them. I read all the Twilight books and saw all the movies. I liked both and they are not bad if you fully understand them and take them as they are. But of course they are not classic literature so they don't stand up to in comparison to Little Women, The Pilgrims Promise, Grapes of Wrath, ect. (Haven't read all of them but they are classic literature that are respected. That is why I listed them.) I have no interest in reading the books or seeing the movie. But that is just me.

I usually do not like the classic literature (I am more into fantasy) but I did love Little Women....I just could not make myself read Twilight after I saw the crappy movie and read the synopisis of the storys...But I am all into trying new things at least once....(that is why I became hooked on Harry Potter,Hunger Games, and the Disc World books...Enders Game is also a wonderful series of Books)My sister was really into the harlequin romances but I only read them every once in a while when I am bored...heck most Fantasy books are basically soft core porn anyway (well the adult books anyway)....

Hmm... didn't know about adult Fantasy books being basically soft core porn. I like a lot of different kinds of books but when I read fantasy books I prefer the young adult novels. They are clean and usually very good. Do you like to read different versions of different fairytales? What kind of fantasy do you like?

Yeah I like the retold Fairytales, but I have tried different types of books too...I just finished the Hunger Game Books, and I have read Harry Potter,Vladmir Todd,The Undead/unwed series, The 500 Kingdoms series, Elemental Masters series,DiscWorld,Xanth, and just way too many to list.....I started a series that is Cinderella retold in a futuristic landscape (Cinder) and it is really good...Unfortuantly alot of the series I have been reading have not been finished yet and I am waiting for the next book....I end up reading alot of young adult books cause that section is right by the children area and it is easier to look through them while watching my kids at the Library...Right now I am reading a retold Fairy tale (sort of) and it is an Elemental Masters book..it is pretty good...I basically just love to read and leave realitity every once in a while....

Me too. I read Undead and Unwed. I haven't read the ones before or after. I haven't read the other ones you mentioned but I have heard of them and want to read some of them.
