♥ 4. Green Dress ♥

Many people found green not to be a very flattering colour on Belle. The dress is seen while she is playing outside with Phillipe and the dog/footstool as well as the scene in which the Beast gives Belle his library. The dress has puffy shoulders that then descend into long sleeves. It's sort an olive colour for the most part and is worn with a matching ribbon in Belle's hair.

♥ 3. Blue Dress ♥

Weiter eliminated was Belle's signature blue insgesamt dress with a white bluse and blue bow. My personal favourite look for Belle, this dress was not inspired Von Dorothy Gale, contrary to some speculation. It was actually inspired Von the dress Julie Andrews wears on the hilltop in The Sound Of Music, as was the Belle Reprise scene. Belle occasionally wears an schürze with this dress, which the animators weren't careful enough about as in the scene where Belle is confronted Von the mob outside her house, she goes back and forth between shots, sometimes with an apron, sometimes sans apron.

♥ 2. rosa Dress ♥

This dress seemed to be quite popular. Belle wears it during the Something There sequence and its rosy colour represents the fact that she is now in love, just like her blue one represented the fact that she was isolated, lonely, and unique. This dress is very pretty and is worn with a deep rosa fur-trimmed cape while Belle is outside in the snow.

♥ 1. Yellow Ballgown ♥

It's no surprise that Belle's most beloved outfit was the one that Disney markets her in the most. It's the outfit she is most remembered for as she wore it in the iconic scene in which she and Beast dance to the film's titular song. Although the kleid has some passionate haters, *cough cough* princesslullaby, the majority of Fanpoppers seem to Liebe it.
