I started doing Jasmine's test in my head and noticed she fit a lot of the traits (including ones I left out because I thought they applied to all princesses). So I decided to write it down.

Unique traits without contacts oder hair dye- No, she has black hair and brown eyes.
An odd name- No. 'Jasmine' is probably the most common name out of the DPs (and Anna, but the pronunciation is unique).
Looks constantly Kommentiert on- Yes. Von Aladin and the suitors, and like Esmeralda, she uses it as a weapon. 1.
Always the hero- No. She's almost as much of a damsel in distress as the classic princesses.
Multiple characters falling for her- Yes, Aladin and the suitors, though it's at least justified due to being the princess. 1.
Gets into the relationships she wants- Actually, yes. She avoids the relationships she doesn't want with the suitors and ends up with the boy she wants. 1.
No flaws oder any flaws addressed oder causing a negative impact- Yes. Jasmine's sassiness and bluntness is portrayed as cute and feisty, and her father calls her out on it, but like Ariel's, just gives her everything she wants in the end and it has no negative impact. 2.
Seen as perfect/angelic in everyone's eyes- Yeah, even after they notice her bluntness and snippiness. 2.
Always loved and trusted without earning it- Yeah, Aladin immediately loved Jasmine. 2.
Liebe and trust from closed-off characters- The only one in the film is Jafar, but he doesn't really Liebe her and only wants her to fall in Liebe with him for his own goals.
Other characters degraded for her sake- No, unless Du count Aladin degrading himself for her.
A rival to make her look good- Yes, Achmed. The first scene of her in the movie is sending her tiger after him to Zeigen off how cool and feisty she is. 1.
Never fails- Yes, jasmin succeeds at almost everything she does. 1.
Never injured- Yes. I can't remember a time jasmin was injured. 1.
Always praised and rewarded without earning it- Yes. Like Ariel, her father gives her what she wants in the end even though she did nothing to earn it (though unlike Ariel, she at least didn't make things worse for everyone). 1.
Unrealistically skilled/powerful- No, jasmin doesn't do much oder have many skills.
Always figures things out- No, she didn't figure out Aladin was lying to her, though she did figure out she met him in the streets Von tricking him.
Kind but deadly- Yeah, she's supposed to be kind and gentle but also tough and feisty. 1.
Tragic backstory- Yes and no. Her backstory is ideal compared to the other princesses (and even compared to a regular person), but like Ariel, she makes it out to be tragic and complains about it. .5
Skilled in a wide variety of things- Nope, she doesn't have any skills.
Contradictory traits- Yes. She's supposed to be feisty and rebellious but is also quite a damsel in distress, and is supposed to be kind and generous but is blunt and rude often. 1.
Always gets what she wants- Yes. She gets everything she wants at the end, and even before, she had a luxurious life with everything she could possibly want (but it still wasn't enough for her). 1.
Rarely shows negative emotions- No, she spends a lot of time complaining and being angry.
A resurrection- Nope.

That's 16.5 out of 24. Wow, she almost beat Rapunzel as the biggest Sue (I actually thought she beat her for a moment, before realizing I counted wrong). She also fits some traits I left out, like 'Naturally beautiful and hates it oder tries to cover it up' (she hates how her beauty attracts suitors) and 'Wish fulfilment character' which would consist of a hot partner, good looks, wealth, lots of friends, awesome friends, cool skills and powers, a famous life, everything Du want, and never getting into trouble, which jasmin fits all of except for lots of Friends and cool skills and powers. I'm surprised she ranks higher than Belle and the classics, who are called Mary Sues way more. Rapunzel is still the biggest, but it's very close.

You'll notice that characters created around the same time as each other tend to share traits that are beliebt at the time oder big with the artist/director/etc who works with them.

However, I'm not here to talk about personalities. Those have already been covered Von many interesting authors who explore the topics far Mehr effectively than I could. What I want to talk about is common overarching themes I have noticed in each generation of princesses.

Classic Princesses

A common theme with the first three Disney princesses (Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora) I think is maintaining hope and optimism...

Well, as promised, here my thoughts. Careful, though, I intend to go into great detail about the movie. If Du haven’t watched it yet, I suggest to leave, oder this will ruin the experience for you. I also warn Du if Du Liebe the movie. For me, it was very much a mixed bag, and I will mostly try to figure out why I wasn’t as Verzaubert as I was and still am of my favourite Disney Princess Movies.

1. The Animation

Let’s start with the positive: The Animation is gorgeous! When I saw the scene with the ship sinking in the storm, I kept thinking “wow”. And the snow scenes…let’s put it...

Hi everyone! This Artikel was an idea I had to showcase some of the current Disney Princess fans. Obviously there are many other Fans in this club, but it is impossible to include everyone for various reasons, even though that would be ideal. Each person involved is listed according to their favourite princess, and there is a short summary of that person so we can all get to know each other better. So Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays, and please enjoy!

Hey guys! For this Artikel I'm going to go through all the DPs in order and say which of their hairstyles is my favorite. Anna and Elsa will be in this list, but unless Du think of the length of a braid as a spoiler there probably won't be spoilers. And this is all original movie, no sequels! With all that said, let's start with the list:

Snow White's Red Bow Hairstyle
Snow White only has two hairstyles, this one and the same hair with a blue bow, but I think the bright red color is a good contrast to her hair, and it brings out the red in her lips.

 The receiver
The receiver
I know this is kinda a weird countdown, but here ya go.

10. The Prince
I don't see him giving any wedgies at all. If anything, I think he'd be the one receiving them from everyone else.

9. Prince Charming
Just like with the Prince, I don't see Charming giving any wedgies. He might give the occasional wedgie, but only to the Prince.

8. Prince Phillip
This guy would give so many wedgies to the other two classic princes that it's not funny.

7. Shang
He doesn't always give wedgies, but when he does, Du better believe that it'll being excruciatingly painful.

6. Adam/Beast

I decided to start a series of analyzing the DP Couples in depth (and later, the other Disney Couples) after I got bored one day, and wanted to write a series of articles. Du can recommend me which couple to do Weiter in the couples section. So here is how it is going to go. I will first explain my insgesamt statement about the couples in a paragraph, and then I will analyze each scene to look at the inner and outer feelings of the characters individually an the couple itself.

Here is the first DP Couple Analysis:link

I thought that since Merida has joined that I should talk about the most heroic Disney Princesses. I'll be judging their actions based off not only the original Filme but in the sequels and TV series'. Keep in mind that this is just my opinion and that just because like per say I think they're a damsel in distress and not that heroic doesn't mean that I hate them. Anyway please leave a Kommentar and enjoy.

11.Aurora

Okay I don't like her but I don't hate her and this is kind of part of why I don't like her. First of all her dream is basically to be a damsel in distress, be saved Von her true...

People say that Ariel never learned a lesson in The Little Mermaid and that she never really was sorry for what she did. I kind of agreed with this until I watched The Little Mermaid last night, and I realized that she does actually learn a lesson.

When people like to defend Ariel, they tend to point to this line:
Daddy, I'm sorry! I - I - I didn't mean to. I didn't know –
However, those who say Ariel doesn’t learn anything say it is only one moment, and that she was really just sorry she got caught.
