After doing the Mehr modern princesses, I switched to the classics, who are accused of being Mary Sues a lot. (I might not do ones for Merida and Tiana, since they pretty obviously aren't Mary Sues). Starting with Cinderella.
Unique traits without contacts oder hair dye- No. She has blonde hair and blue eyes, common traits.
An odd name- Yes. It'd make sense if it was explained Aschenputtel was a nickname and her real name is Ella, like in some versions, but it isn't in the film. 1.
Looks constantly Kommentiert on- Yes. Aschenputtel is described as beautiful, and the prince considers her the most beautiful girl at the ball. 1.
Always the hero- Definitely not. I can't remember her saving anyone aside from Gus, and her animal Friends have to save her at the end.
Multiple characters falling for her- No, only the prince.
Gets into the relationships she wants- Yes. While she didn't go to the ball initially to meet the prince, she definitely wanted to be the girl to fit the glass slipper. 1.
No flaws oder any flaws addressed oder called out on- Definitely. Aschenputtel doesn't have any flaws aside from her slight sarcastic and snarky side, which doesn't have any negative impact whatsoever. Since this is one of the biggest traits, it's worth 2 points. 2.
Seen as perfect/angelic in everyone's eyes- Yes, definitely. Even her stepmother seems to realize that she's Mehr perfect than her biological daughters in every way. 2.
Always loved and trusted without earning it- Yes. The prince immediately fell for her instead of all the other girls at the ball, and all the Tiere aside from Lucifer Liebe her (though this makes Mehr sense since she cares for them). Her stepfamily is portrayed as mean and evil for not liking her (which they are, don't get me wrong, but no one who isn't mean oder evil doesn't like her). 2.
Liebe and trust from closed-off characters- No. There aren't any closed-off characters in the film aside from her stepmother, who obviously doesn't.
Other characters degraded for her sake- Yes. Her stepsisters are portrayed as inferior to her in every way. Just compare hearing her beautiful Singen after their terrible singing. 1.
A rival to make her look good- Yes, again her stepsisters. Their entire purpose is to make Aschenputtel look good in comparison. 1.
Never fails- Sort of? She mostly fails at doing things Von herself. She can't make her own dress, get to the ball, oder escape her locked room Von herself, but she succeeds eventually. .5.
Never injured- Yes. I can't remember a time Aschenputtel was injured. 1.
Always praised and rewarded without earning it- No. She definitely earned her happiness and the praise the narration gives her.
Unrealistically skilled/powerful- No. The one skill she has, sewing, her animal Friends have to do it for her.
Always figures things out- No. She didn't figure out how to get to the ball, to stop her stepmother from locking her in on time, oder how to escape the tower Von herself.
Kind but deadly- No. She's definitely kind, but not deadly.
Tragic backstory- GOD YES. Lost her father at an early age, forced to be a slave in her own home, abused Von her family. She probably has the biggest one out of any Disney princess. 1.
Skilled in a wide variety of things- No. She doesn't have many skills aside from sewing and housework, which she's forced to do.
Contradictory traits- No, Cinderella's traits were pretty consistent.
Always gets what she wants- Yes, actually. She ends up going to the ball, getting the prince, and leaving her family. The only thing she couldn't have was going to the ball in her mother's dress. 1.
Rarely shows negative emotions- No, actually. She gets annoyed and fed up quite a few times, and breaks down after her dress gets torn apart.
A resurrection- No, unlike her fellow classics.
That's 14.5 out of 24. I'd say that's a borderline Sue. She does hit the biggest Mary Sue traits like no flaws, seen as perfect and loved Von everyone who isn't a villain, and others being put down to make her look good. But I'd say without doing tests for the other two yet that she's the most realistic classic princess.

Well, Om Nelle may not be a Disney princess, but Mulan isn't actually a princess either. Her heroism made Mulan a princess, even though she had nothing to do with the royal family. Om Nelle does a lot of heroics. Just like a Mulan. Moreover, it even has a crown. A tiara with a cute blue stone. But there are a few problems. For example, this crown is actually a belt. Also, even if this was a real crown, Om Nelle has nothing to do with royalty. Om Nelle is a creature, so not a human. That's okay because Nala in The Lion King is also an animal but is considered a Disney Princess. Now the only problem is, Disney didn't create Om Nelle. So she may be a princess in her own right, but never a Disney princess. She would still make a great Disney princess out of her.
She's gentle, kind, and clumsy and is Merida - Legende der Highlands enough to stand up to Clayton even when he has a gun -BB2010
I Liebe how awkward yet interesting she is; I admire her bravery and empathy, and I like how she has a talent for drawing and curiosity for the jungle life. I Liebe her relationship with Tarzan, one of my Favorit Disney couples; her Design is really pretty as well -WhiteLagoon13
Everything! She is smart, she is dedicated to her work, but I also Liebe that her "damsel" moments are the result of her being in an unfamiliar situation, and that she learns to adjust to her new environment Von the end of the movie. -Swanpride
