So this is another Artikel I'm Schreiben based on a Umfrage I recently done. This time the Frage was "Do Du think a princess has to be perfect?" At the time I'm Schreiben this, 28 people Stimmen 61% no, 39% yes.

People are allowed to have their own opinions and thoughts, that's something I will always respect. But when the topic of perfection is up for debate, it makes me wonder if people really have any idea of how harmful being "perfect" can be.

So some of Du might ask me, what's wrong with perfection? In what way can it possibly be harmful? Well, have a seat, make yourself comfortable, maybe get yourself some refreshments, because I'll be Mehr than happy to explain.

Let me explain now why the idea of perfection is harmful.

 Rose from Titanic
Rose from Titanic

So for centuries women have been taught to be polite, soft spoken, to be seen and not heard, to look as beautiful as possible, to be a porzellan doll. We're told if we act a certain way that's not the "right" way we won't find husbands oder we'll be made fun of for being "different". Even girls today are taught this.

Why is this a bad thing? It's because if girls grow up thinking they're not perfect enough in anyone's eyes they start to hate themselves. And there's times where the stress can be so bad that they end up going down a dark road.

Now I Liebe Disney, the movies, the tv shows, the actors they've had over the years, but the company itself isn't as nice as it appears to be. The company will threaten to feuer their child actors if they don't act the way Disney wants them to act. If Du wear a bikini that's not "family friendly"? Du better hope Du have a huge fanbase oder you'd be getting fired on the spot. It doesn't matter how old Du are, Du have to look a certain way and act a certain way. Even if you're not on tv, Du know how bad that kind of pressure is? It's not pleasant at all. And as mentioned before it can be so bad that you'll want to walk a dark path, like alcoholism, drugs, oder self harm.

Esmeralda, I feel, is the best woman to use an example for this kind of topic. She's a character who has been talked about a lot recently and the way people here were saying reminded me of this bit of interesting trivia I read in the IMDB page of her movie.

"Esmeralda's decision to marry Phoebus at the end of her film was likely the result of the way both Quasimodo and Frollo treated her throughout the movie, according to the Madonna-Whore complex: Frollo constantly viewed Esmeralda as an evil seductress, causing him to want her as his own and threatens to kill her if she refuses, while Quasimodo instead Ansichten her as a pure, angelic being, seeing her as being only kind and caring. However, both portrayals are considered insulting to women, and Phoebus, seeing her as being feisty but good-natured, was the only male character that saw Esmeralda like a normal woman, therefore becoming her husband"

The way a lot of people talked about her was pretty much the same way Frollo would think; they focused mostly on how "inappropriate" she is, literally nothing else. There is so much Mehr to her character than what she wears oder what she did in one scene. She's also very caring and wants to protect her people.

jasmin is another example, I've seen some negative Kommentare toward her about how "hard she is on others" when most of the time she's in the movie is spent with her standing up for herself. She obviously doesn't want to be forced into marriage, she obviously wants Mehr than just being trapped in the palace her whole life, and she obviously doesn't like that people are, as she sagte "Standing around deciding my future"

Meanwhile the men are gegeben different treatment. Oh Du don't like Esmeralda because she wears that one dress? (that was somehow too inappropriate?) Well better not watch Aladin because he doesn't wear a hemd, shirt for half of the movie! Oh and I'd avoid Mulan too because Shang's shirtless for an entire song and there's one scene where the characters bathe which means they get naked

Oh and how could I forget the other princesses/heroines! I mean Ariel only wears a muschel bra for half of her movie! And Jasmine's outfit shows her stomach! And Elsa's blue dress is so tightfitting and has that slit on her leg! so inappropriate!

We are in 2018, can we please stop judging a woman's character Von what she wears? If a woman likes to wear a certain outfit then let her!

The princesses and heroines, though not real, are human beings. Human beings are not perfect. Can Du think of someone in real life (and I mean real life, as in anybody Du actually know, not an actor Du love) who is "perfect"? Who is well-mannered and even-tempered?

In fact, the princesses themselves sagte they're not perfect in the upcoming Wreck it Ralph 2 movie, And instead of just picturing your Favorit princesses as Engel who could do no wrong, Du might notice that some of them are naive, don't think things through, act like brats, aren't graceful, oder aren't, as some of Du would say well mannered. I mean I Liebe Mulan, she's my number one Favorit princesses but I'm still aware of her flaws. She's not graceful all the time and while she does have some good plans they don't always end perfectly (avalanche and blowing up the palace)

Also these princesses are all teenagers and people feel the need to judge them Von how perfect oder imperfect they are. Would Du do that to a teenager in real life? As long as the teenager isn't hurting anybody oder saying hurtful stuff why would it matter if they act oder dress a certain way?

Let teenagers be teenagers and let women do what they want that doesn't just involve them being the porzellan Puppen society wants them to be

I find that Snow has the opposite problem as Elsa: she is frequently just typed as a sensor (because Du know, she's all traditional and not adventurous and likes to cook and all that boring sensor stuff, right?). There's a lot of bias and stereotyping with MBTI fans, and I used to be guilty of it too (OK, sometimes I still am). though to be fair, I think Snow IS a little underdeveloped in ways, so she could really be interpreted either way. However, I'll explain why I think she uses Ni over Si.

Extraverted Feeling (Fe): No doubt about it, Snow White is warm, caring, and a social butterfly....

I did say I was going to write Weihnachten related Artikel here, but I've been wanting to write this one for a while, but I've been putting it off because I thought that pretty much everyone had the same list, but after thinking about it some parts of the Liste can variate from person to person though I believe that most of Du will agree with my oben, nach oben 5. Anyway this was Von far the hardest Liste I've ever written, the oben, nach oben 5 where settled in stone, but the rest where really hard to place. I based this on many aspects, but mostly on if the princess has both her parents alive, one parent alive oder is...

My Liste hasn't changed all that much but I thought after rewatching Aladin I would write an updated list.

13. Merida- Not a fan, I'm all for female empowerment but I don't like her attitude. She is just so rude & I do not find her likeable.

12. Elsa- She just really bugs me. I can't think of any other reasons but she just aggravates me.

11. Anna- Not keen on her either. She is not as bad as the other two but I'm not a fan, moving on.

10. Tiana- She is too much of a workaholic. I get that she has dreams to run her own restaurant but she can have fun once in awhile.

9. Jasmine- jasmin has really...

Inspired Von link, who did an amazing job(! <3), I really wanted to do my own version with Favorit Openings. I actually really Liebe the original fairy tale concept of the Disney Princesses and I Liebe the openings that give a Mehr magical and fairy tale kind of feel. (By the way, I am primarily trying to stick to the first 2-4 minutes.) So here is my ranking of the DP film openings, I hope Du guys enjoy this light read! :D

12. Frozen: Frozen Heart/Ice Opening
I personally found this to be uninteresting and irrelevant to the film's magic, fairy tale and princesses (mostly) in the film. No explanation...

I, myself only knew 8 out of 24. Who knows, Du might know Mehr than me oder know less than me. Either way enjoy Lesen and absorb the knowledge!

Trivia

1) Art director Brian McEntee color-keyed Belle so that she is the only person in her town who wears blue. This is symbolic of how different she is from everyone else around. Later, she encounters the Beast, another misfit, also wearing blue and with blue eyes. It symbolized good in the film whereas red symbolized evil (the color of Gaston's hemd, shirt is red). A notable exception to this code is Gaston's blue eyes - making him the only Disney villain...

I Liebe art! I Liebe culture, history, Musik and I Liebe art. I have done some posts and Umfrage about the Disney Princesses in reference to music, culture and fashion but not art yet so I thought I would do that next. I like to think of the Disney Princesses as "cultured" young women who have manners, etiquette, decent universal knowledge and appreciation for the arts. So, in my theory of the Disney Princesses being cultured, albeit each at their own levels, here are the paintings that I think each Disney Princess would Liebe the most. (I could probably find a transporter, van Gogh for each of them as I absolutely...

Happy Halloween! After much thinking about this, I think I finally came up with another Artikel that i'm sure would be interesting to talk about.

Everything lives in a balance. there can't be good without bad, light without darkness, etc etc...The dichtonomy of ying-yang and how they complement each other is a subject that I find fascinating to read about, and mostly to apply it to other things. Something interesting i noted is how often in Disney the villains are pretty much the exact opposite of the heroes, but they often sometimes come from a same base. And in that base, they have much in...

I find majority of the DP Filme to be a bit scary, but that doesn't mean that it's impossible to make a Liste of the scariest movies, but it wasn't an easy Liste to do, but as usual I hope you'll enjoy this article

12. Cinderella

Okay so the bottom 3 are the only ones I'm really sure about and especially number 12, I mean do I even need to explain why it's last? But luckily it's there for a good reason, but despite being last it does have a few scary moments, but nowhere near as much as the Filme above

11. Frozen

This movie also lacks scary moments, but I placed it higher because it...

Because I am still in a musical mood but also ready for the "autumn/Halloween" mood, I'd like to incorporate the two! There aren't many DP villain songs insgesamt but I came up with at least 9 that were good enough to use for the sake of this countdown. I rated each of the songs against how villainous the lyrics were, how villainous the Musik sounds, how villainous the scene that accompanies the song in the film is and how villainous is the goal of the villain (or just the villain itself) Singen the song? I ranked each song in the 4 categories and then ranked them insgesamt Von accumulative "evil"...

It is the Monat of October which, in reference to DPs, definitely makes me think of the villains! Since I enjoy themes, October will have a "Halloween, Autumn, oder Villain" theme in most of my posts. This one is going with Halloween & Villains! I still cannot add any Fotos to these Artikel but I will be doing so as soon as possible. I only included the villains that I actually remember doing an "evil laugh" in their original film:

9. Governor Ratcliffe- Pocahontas: Not really an evil laugh, Mehr of a "bad person" laugh. Not too scary.

8. Lady Tremaine- Cinderella: Although it's evil,...

I have recently learned that the red hair is a recessive gene and will eventually die out in centuries to come. To think of it, it is very sad as I absolutely Liebe the fiery reds. So this Artikel is inspired from this Kürzlich learning and to dedicate to my favourite hairstyle among all princesses.

13. Cinderella:
I hated putting her so down, especially she being my 3rd favourite princess. I hate the length of her hair, its like neither here nor there. I'd say, being a house maid, the pony with simple tie-band suited her purpose. I actually liked her cute little braids in the morning. But when...

Snow White- All Du Need Is Liebe Von The Beatles: Simple tune with a heartfelt message and catchy melody. Reminds me a lot of "A Smile and a Song".

Hey everyone! So a really talented writer on this site had posed a Frage about which princesses fit best as Friends into friend groups. This made me very happy because I honestly think about this all the time (Disney Princess crossovers) so I was excited about the opportunity to read other fans' opinions. After Lesen many people's opinions and putting careful thought into this, I believe I have come up with groups that best fit the personalities involved. I would Liebe to hear what Du guys think, see if Du agree oder disagree and why so please feel free to leave detailed comments. Thanks!...

Since I'm being so villainous, it seemed like an appropriate time to share MY OPINIONS on DP Filme villains and rank them in order. (Joke intended :D)

So here goes:

1. Maleficent:
with her one nasty evil stroke, she set the stage, She didn't dabble in small time efforts. Her character is the most alluring and unique. She was a fairy, but an evil one. She has the aura of an enchantress. I loved her confidence when she took the stage while casting out the spell.
The best villainy traits: downright evil, need no disguise, doesn't flaunt but does every act confidently and with most style.

2. Mother...
