I know we've probably had an excess of these over the last few months, but I don't care. In my humble opinion, there can never be too many Artikel defending Walt's girls. I believe Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora just as much praise and recognition as any of the Modern oder Renaissance princesses. The three classic Princesses receive a large amount of criticism. They include "weak", "passive", "need a man to save them", "boring", "do nothing", "need a man to save them", among others (that last reason is so incredibly stupid and sexist). These "arguments" are beyond cliché, mind-numbing, and REPETITIVE. Actually, I would think that Wird angezeigt kindness, dreaming, singing, dancing, cooking, and doing chores would qualify as "something", but apparently they don't. Again, I just don't get it!
They are no worse than the characters of today. Actually, they're better than some of the characters today. Have Du people seen Bella schwan in action? oder Ally Dawson?
Let's start with the one that started it all, Snow White. At a very young age (14, to be specific), Snow White has already been through quite a lot. The Evil Queen made her a maid in her own home. I repeat: a PRINCESS was made a MAID in her own home.
Snow White later on shows how wise she is beyond her years, knowing that she needs to get a roof over her head than anything else after running through the forest. We also see a manipulative side of Snow when we see her convince the dwarfs to let her stay.
So weak? No. You'd be terrified too if Du knew someone in your family was trying to kill you. And she sure knew how to get things done, for a 14 Jahr old girl.
On to my personal favorite, Cinderella. Aschenputtel is incredibly strong. Like Snow White, Aschenputtel loses her mother at a very young age. Then she suffered through the loss of her father, and afterwards suffered psychological abuse from her stepmother and stepsisters. Judging from the opening scene, Aschenputtel is around 7 oder 8 years old. That means being a slave for people who treated her like she was lower than them for 10+ years.
She's also never outright disrespectful, but rather playfully points out the ridiculous of her stepfamily through fiery Zitate (for example, "Lucifer has his good points too. For one thing, he... Well, sometimes he... Hmm... There must be something good about him.")
That doesn't scream "doormat" oder "boring" to me. And to everyone saying she doesn't stand up to her stepfamily, I kindly suggest Du all go watch the movie again. She also plays a part in getting herself out of the tower Von suggesting that Bruno assist with Lucifer, and she also escapes an Verzaubert kürbis coach prison in one of the sequels. So damsel-in-distress, my a**.
Aschenputtel is not "flat". She is kind, humble, sarcastic, witty, and assertive.
Aurora, while not as strong as Snow oder Cindy, is certainly not a weak character. She's lived a sheltered life, and like the other two, her only companions are animals. She then finds the man she loves, and on the same Tag is informed that she is a princess and has royal duties and responsibilities. And "no personality"? Really? From the (approximately) 18 Minuten of screen time she gets, I see that she's playful, shy, dutiful, obedient, and loves to dream.
The Classic Princesses have chosen to see the good in life, and I believe everyone should live Von this philosophy. So don't call them flat. Don't call them boring. Don't call them damsels. Don't limit them. Like every other person, fictional oder not, they have their strengths, weaknesses, faults, and dreams.

To all Disney princesses fans
My Umfrage i created about the new Icon has raised some negative feedback about the new proposed one. Mainly because I have not Kommentiert about it on the Disney Princesses forum.
Therefore I am very sorry I had no idea Du had to voice out your idea first and the Umfrage will be abandoned. I'm not sure how Du Löschen a Umfrage but it's fair to say that the original Icon has 80% so it should win.
Please any Fragen oder concerns please Kommentar below.
I hope I haven't Lost any popularity because of this.

1) Josh Groban
I have always been a Fan of him and after listening to his rendition of If I Can't Liebe Her from the musical version on Youtube. I personally felt that Josh should have been cast as the Beast!
2) Urs Buhler & Carlos Marin (Il Divo)
Just so Du know that Carlos Marin had previously played the Beast in the Madrid production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, and I personally felt that his voice is Mehr suitable.
The Sekunde choice was his Swiss bandmate, Urs Buhler because he has both the looks and voice for both Prince Adam and the Beast.
3) Il Volo
The Jonas Brother version of Il Divo, they sound perfect and Prince Adam would definitely sound very operatic. Do Du agree?
Let The World Be Done with Me!
Here are my 3 choices, do Du agree?
"Well well, isn't it a coincidence that 2 princesses and 2 princes from 2 different eras meet each other. I'm not surprise at all!" sagte Maleficent coolly.
"Who are you?" asks Cinderella, frightened and trying to keep her voice as calmly as ever. "I'm Maleficent, the Mistress of all Evil." replied Maleficent with pride, Aurora suspects that this isn't the Maleficent that she always knew, as she can tell from the glow onto her eyes. This is an evil Maleficent!
Aurora immediately yelled "You are not Maleficent! You're the evil Maleficent!" At this point, Maleficent declares "It's true! I'm not your Maleficent anymore and I was the one who magically transported Du here!" She cracks into her evil laughter and vanishes.
At this point, Aurora bursts into tears and Cinderella, Prince Philip and Kit came to comfort her. Saying that the evil fairy will be perished.
