Whilst typing my last Artikel I came to realize that (Mulan being the exception) my Favorit princesses were different than my Favorit princess movies. That said; whilst my two Favoriten are Ariel and Mulan, my Favorit Filme are Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, and Snow White.

Beauty and the Beast

This movie is probably my Favorit Disney movie hands down. I absolutely adored the plot. I'm all for uniqueness and originality; usually in Filme people are cursed into animals. In Beauty and the Beast, they are all objects...that can talk. And this is all because their Prince had to work on his attitude...it goes along side that classic 'if the King is toxic his land will be too' story line. I enjoyed that symbolism in literature works like Oedipus The King, I enjoyed it here. I thought it was so sweet that Belle was kind enough to see past the Beast and into the prince beneath. For me this was just the most interesting story as a whole.

Another huge factor is the characters. For me to like a Zeigen I have to have a Favorit character (a.k.a the characters have to be lovable). I liked every one of the characters, even Gaston...the man was funny, what can I say? Belle was a sweet girl and I feel like I can relate to her Mehr than most of the other princesses. Chip was a cutie. Luminere and Cogsworth where amazingly funny as well, I Liebe the funny characters. But Mehr then anything, as a kid I loved the duster. I have no clue why, but Babette was always my favorite.

The musical numbers were catchy as well, I can't even count the number of times I've had 'be our guest' stuck in my head. And tale as old as time is such a beautiful score. I Liebe the Celine Dion version.

To go with sound and plot, I loved the art and scenery. I am especially fond of the beautifully animated forest...particularly the winter scenes.

And of course noglosia always plays a role. As a child this was the movie that I would watch and then promptly rewind. This to the point where my grandmother could speak most all of the lines word for word. My sister and I would go out and pretend to be the characters...and then she'd make me watch Sleeping Beauty (which was her 4ever rewind movie).

Mulan

With Mulan, the biggest key to my liking of it was the extremely lovable characters. My Favorit being Mushu, the little guy was hilarious. "Ooh, I think my bunny slippers just ran for cover." Of course Mulan herself is a wonderful character, I already talked about that though. Shang is also a neat guy. I honestly can't say I dislike any of the characters.

In my other Artikel I talked about my Liebe of the plot. And here I'll do so again; I just Liebe the idea of a badass female taking on a so called 'male job'. I especially enjoyed the fact that she did so even though it wan't the most legal thing to do at that time. From watching her in training, to watching her try not to get found out, Mulan was an exciting watch.

A common theme in all of these is scenery. I adore the art for Mulan, perhaps Mehr than Beauty and the Beast. I Liebe how they drew the temple and that night scene where the fireworks are all going off. Magnificent, beautiful I loved it. I Liebe when Mulan walks Von that pond, the kirsche blossom tress are just drawn so so well.

I also have a memory oder two attached to this movie; and that was the last Tag of high school. My English teacher had decided to Zeigen us all Mulan. It was the one Tag when everyone put aside petty high school drama and just watched a movie and laughed together. It almost made me want to stay!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

And finally, Snow White. I'm gonna be completely honest; Snow is one of my least Favorit princesses. However her movie was wonderful. Not gonna lie, this is mostly due to my Liebe for Regina Mills...whose Disney counterpart lies within this movie. I have a thing for the Evil Queen, I can't Liebe villains without loving her! Mirror mirror on the Wand is perhaps the most memorable Disney quote...for myself anyhow. So I guess this is a start on the wonderful set of characters. It is so hard to manage as many main characters as Snow White has; giving each a fair amount of screen time, but Snow White did it well. And each Dwarf had his own personality, they weren't all uniformed. The Huntsman was also a sympathetic character. I did mention above I don't really care for Snow, but she is a kind and well written character.

Like all of the above Filme I like the plot. Though it was shallow for my bae to try to kill Snow because she was 'prettier' it created for an interesting story line; jealous stepmother has a huntsman try to carve her stepdaughter's herz out, he fails, she finds some interesting dwarfs in the forest, the stepmom then disguises as an old woman and poisons her. That's a pretty interesting story.

And of course the artwork, as always, is stellar. Couldn't have done it any better myself. The little dwarf cottage is just so cozy looking, I Liebe it.

Disney has Verzaubert us for decades with its beautiful, Singen heroines.
Disney has enchanted us for decades with its beautiful, singing heroines.
As many of us know, Disney Princesses are not always viewed in a positive light. Some people believe them to be passive, codependent damsels in distress. But is this really true? oder does each Princess offer a kind of strength in her own way? Here, I have carefully ranked the princesses in terms of being good role Models for young girls. We'll start at the bottom of the Liste so we can work our way towards, in my opinion, Disney Princess' best role model. I have spoken to plenty of parents to make sure that I have diverse research and opinions.

The Liste of hottest Disney princes is finally here! As we know, Disney guys are mostly hotter than guys in real life, and I admittedly have a crush on Mehr than one of them. But let's see as a whole, who the Fanpop community is crushing on.
I only have a little to write about each of the guys, because...come on. Du all know as much as I do.

This nameless fellow was out pretty quickly in the first round. Dark brown hair, brown eyes, and of average height, this guy really is nothing special. A major turn off for most of the people who voted was his girly appearance,...

Snow White ___________________________

In the beginning of the Grimm's Tale Schneewittchen, Snow White's mother pricks her finger with a sewing needle and three drops of her blood fall onto the snow which lay on the ebony windowsill. Oddly enough, this made her long for a daughter of a similar color scheme. While this reflects the arc of the story: (white)innocence, (red)maturity & love, and (black)death, her name particularly represents a season when the world metaphorically sleeps only to be inevitably awakened with the coming of spring.

Hi everyone, I just watched Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera just now. While watching, I noticed some similarities with Beauty and the Beast! Here are my observations.

The Story-line

As Du may know, both stories are set in France, it also has a sad theme in it as it deals with a deformed person name Erik who wishes to be love. Ironically, the Autor of The Phantom of the Opera is Von Gaston Leroux, who happens to be the namesake villain of Disney's retelling of Beauty and the Beast. The rose also plays a symbolic role in both stories.
Secondly, the Stranger Than Du Dream It scene...

Well,it's been a while since a wrote an article,huh?
It's not entirely my fault,it's just I that my life has its ups and downs and I had to deal with both of them in the past days.Plus, considering how long my Zurück Artikel was that I had to teilt, split it into two parts,I needed some break from that.
But enough talk, let's get into the Artikel itself.
Du may not have known this, but I'm also a big Steven Universe fan. Most of that has to do with the fact of,you guessed it,how much it resembles Frozen.
Now technically,Steven Universe aired about one week before Frozen came out,but the similarities...

I haven't done a ranking in a while, so here ya go. This Artikel is dedicated to the amazing animators of Disney who gave us wonderful character designs and, sadly, unrealistic hair expectations! (*cries because my hair will never be as cool as DP hair*)

That being said, although every princess has beautiful hair, some manes are better than others. This is my opinion of their hairstyles, ranked worst to best.

12. Tiana

I find Tiana's hairstyles quite disappointing. As the first black princess, and being absolutely gorgeous at that, the animators could have done lots of cool things with letting...

 Type Two, "The Helper"
Type Two, "The Helper"
Hello, everyone! This is the first installment of my new series analyzing the DPs' personalities according to the Enneagram system.

Introduction: Understanding the Enneagram

So, the Enneagram is a pretty complicated system of classifying personalities. Basically, everyone has a core type, expressed as a number of One through Nine. This is the most straightforward Beschreibung of someone’s personality.

Here’s a basic rundown of each type:
1: perfectionistic, rational, idealistic
2: generous, warm-hearted, nurturing
3: ambitious, image-conscious, charming
4: sensitive, dreamy, moody
5: cerebral,...

I know she's always typed as an Intuitive, especially an ENFP, and it's understandable why; I had once typed her as an ENFJ myself. She does, after all, just "know" the lights are "meant for me!" But is that really indicative of someone with strong intuitive preference? I think it's because this tendency for people to type nerdy/quirky/silly ESFJs as ENFPs, not only Rapunzel but characters like Steven Universe. It gets frustrating because that just implies only intuitives are inherently imaginative.

Anyway, to the typing:

Triton is one of those dads in Disney that absolutely makes me squirm. I don’t Liebe him, and I don’t hate him. But I do find him extremely unnerving, and on the same plane of Mother Gothel upsetting. He clearly alternates between being “nice” only sometimes, and then being really “explosively nasty” at other periods. King Triton’s rule is a patriarchy. I think his abusive tendencies, though, stem from insecurities he has within himself. Triton is afraid of the unknown. He's also afraid of not appearing “manly” enough. ( Bizarrely, this also makes me think of Prince Adam and...

I got inspired Von laylastepford's link about which American Cities the Disney Princesses would live in and as I'm from Sweden I decided to write an Artikel about which Swedish Towns (since most falls into that category, only a few falls into the "city" category) each Disney Princesses would live in, it's hard to identify each town's personality so I based it on mostly other aspects. I haven't been to all these towns so I'm just basing on what I know about each town

Snow White: Alingsås

This town lays only about 30 Minuten train ride from Gothenburg and from what I've read and seen off...

Hello there! I'm ApplesauceDoctr here today with my third DP Song Analysis article. I've forgotten how much I enjoy Schreiben these, and since I re-watched Merida - Legende der Highlands a few days ago, I thought I'd analyze one of its most notable songs -- "Into the Open Air".

Before we begin, thought I'd mention this -- the chorus occurs twice in the real song (the one Du can purchase from the soundtrack), but only occurs once in the actual movie. The lyrics for the two are quite different, but because we only hear one version in the movie, I'll only discuss that one we hear. :D

This love, it is a distant star...
