Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs

I didn't shred any tears but I felt emotional inside when Snow White was in her coffin in the candlelight of the cottage. I mourned with dwarfs, Tiere and later The Prince until Snow White awakened from the death-like coma. I just wish after the Prince had kissed her and sat mourning on the ground, Disney had waited a beat oder two before waking her up. They spoiled the moment Von having her stir awake just as quickly. Oh I forgot, another scene that made me feel emotional is when after Snow White has ran into forest and is crying. At that moment I thought "She needs human contact. She needs a hug. I want to give her hug!"

Cinderella: Twist in Time

I remember feeling sorry for Aschenputtel after Tremaine breaks the slipper and leaves for the Palace. When Aschenputtel starts crying and as an audience we realise how miserable and how lonely she really is. I shred a few tears for her.

Beauty and the Beast

The Musik is moving! When I was younger the scene where Beast dies, transforms into Adam and then kisses Belle, always made me cry. I re-watched it this Jahr and the scene has no effect on me. Maybe I grew up!

Tangled

I felt emotional when Eugene was dead and Rapunzel was mourning but I didn't shred any tears until the scene where she is reunited with her parents and they have a group hug.

Brave

When Merida lays crying against her mother the bear. It made me cry.

Frozen

When Anna is Frozen and Elsa slowly breaks the enchantment through her Liebe and tears. And another scene when they are together but I can't remember which one. Both scenes made me cry.

You'll notice that characters created around the same time as each other tend to share traits that are beliebt at the time oder big with the artist/director/etc who works with them.

However, I'm not here to talk about personalities. Those have already been covered Von many interesting authors who explore the topics far Mehr effectively than I could. What I want to talk about is common overarching themes I have noticed in each generation of princesses.

Classic Princesses

A common theme with the first three Disney princesses (Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora) I think is maintaining hope and optimism...

Well, as promised, here my thoughts. Careful, though, I intend to go into great detail about the movie. If Du haven’t watched it yet, I suggest to leave, oder this will ruin the experience for you. I also warn Du if Du Liebe the movie. For me, it was very much a mixed bag, and I will mostly try to figure out why I wasn’t as Verzaubert as I was and still am of my favourite Disney Princess Movies.

1. The Animation

Let’s start with the positive: The Animation is gorgeous! When I saw the scene with the ship sinking in the storm, I kept thinking “wow”. And the snow scenes…let’s put it...
