Author's Note: Remember the preview? So here is the first chapter of Seldom What They Seem, my Sleeping Beauty Fanfiction. It was originally named Once Upon a Dream, but I wanted a Mehr original name. Enjoy!

Briar Rose laughed as her prince spun her around. Then he playfully pulled her to the ground. She fell atop him, her hands in his broad chest. Her laughter died as her thoughts became Lost in those handsome features. A strong chin, a long neck and a defined body.

His hair was a honeyed brown, but his eyes were a Schokolade brown. But the best thing were the lips. They looked so.. kissable.

"I Liebe you,"she whispered.

He ran a gentle hand over the side of her face, framed Von a mane of long golden curls.

"I Liebe Du too, my sweet princess," he told her, their eyes, brown and violet, locked in each other's.

Briar Rose's cheeks flushed a shade of pink. She wasn't a princess, she had told him that many times, but he insisted in calling her that.

"You're far Mehr gentle, kind and intelligent than any princess I've ever met," he would always tell her, cupping her face. "And far Mehr beautiful, too."

Entranced Von each other, the two Liebhaber leaned forward, their needy lips barely brushing. Their eyes fluttered until their eyes were closed, and their hearts beat so loudly they could hear each other's heartbeat.

Then...

Briar Rose's violett irises shot open. Astonished, she took in her surroundings: a wooden ceiling, some fairytale Bücher lined in a shelf and a blue blanket covering her from waist-down.

Rose groaned, turning in her bed. It had been only a dream. Always only a dream. But it seemed so real, and they were so close...

Sighing melancholic, Rose sat up in the bed, throwing the blanket away. There is no use in crying over teilt, split milk, Aunt Flora would always say. And after all, she thought with a smug smile, today is my birthday.

Singen the tune of the melody of her dreams, she twirled to the door. A quick glance at the vanity reminded her how she was dressed: her golden hair was woven in a braid over her right shoulder, and her petite frame easily fit in the green nightgown with spitze trimming she was wearing.

She walked down the stairs with grace, and as soon as her bare feet touched the wooden floor, her senses were captivated Von a delicious smell.

Rose looked at the kitchen's side of the lower floor. Aunt Flora and Aunt Fauna were setting the tabelle with cutlery. Aunt Merryweather, perched in a stoll, mixed a great pot of something with a wooden spoon.

"Good morning, my three dears," Rose greeted them merrily.

The three women looked up from their work and greeted her unenthusiastically, something not usual of them.

Ah, playing the old game of pretending they forgot my birthday, are we?, thought Rose, smirking.

"And what is my Aunt Merryweather cooking that is smelling so delicous?" she asked, walking over to Merryweather.

"Porridge," replied the shortest of the aunts. She then served four bowls of porridge, one for each of them.

Rose chatted happily with her aunts, like they did every morning. They talked about the flowers, the animals, that time Rose took care of a bird with a broken wing and made plans of having a picnic in the woods that Saturday.

When the meal was over, her aunts occupied themselves in washing the dishes, while Rose went upstairs. Singen to herself, she undid her braid and shook her flowing curls. Twirling to one side of the room, she slipped out of her nightgown and choose a outfit out of the chest where she kept her clothes.

The one she choose was one of simple style and neutral colors. It had a grey oben, nach oben with sleeves that reached her elbows and a darker grey, pleated rock that reached her mid-calf. She wore her Sekunde pair of petticoats along with it, and then laced a black corset tightly over the top. The last thing she did was choose a black headband to keep her hair back.

"Now I have to do my chores", she thought, neither annoyed oder excited Von the thought. She knew it was something she had to do, oder Aunt Flora would be upset with her. The last thing Rose desired was to make her aunts sad. She did everything she could to please them.

"But one Tag I'll have to go", she thought sadly. "I have the right to live my own life."

While she thought, she worked, making up her bett and dusting the room.

"But Rose," sagte a tiny voice in her head, "you can't leave your poor old aunts after everything they did for you!"

"I know they mean well," she argued, "but they are too overprotective sometimes. I can't meet anyone. This life is becoming boring."

"You are being a selfish ingrate!" Cried the voice.

"No, I'm not", she contested, her detemination slipping with every word the voice said.

"But what if they become ill, oder a stranger sneak into the cottage and..."

"Stop!" Rose cried. The tiny voice in her head was silenced at once and in the room only stood a panting Briar Rose, her chest heaving within the corset and a wiping rag clutched in her hand. Seating in the bed, Rose held her aching head. She would never be able to leave her aunts. She worried too much about them.

Author's Note: So what do Du guys think? Is Aurora In Character? She is such a hard, complex character to write! And I'm afraid that dream scene at the beginning is too ridiculous...

Most people would agree that each of the Disney Princesses are individually unique. While most people take their stories and personalities into consideration, few tend to recognize that they each have an individual artistic style. Even though over the years their lineup has homogenized to create what we might consider Classic Disney, the Design of nearly each princess was in fact inspired with a specific artist oder art style in mind. I believe this is the je-ne-sais-quoi people have a hard time attributing...

Even though all the princesses are pretty and attractive, one is just abit hotter than the next. So let's get started.

10.Rapunzel
I don't know if it has anything to do with the 3D Animation but I just don't find Rapunzel hot. She looks an 11 Jahr old and she's supposed to be 18. And her face isn't all that great either, her eyes are too freaking large.

9.Snow White
I guess we're not to supposed to find Snow White hot. She is only 14 but she looks a little older than that. Probably because she looks so tall compared to the dwarves. She's too cute and baby like to be hot. I like her...

14. One Song - Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

I really like this song because it's so romantic but it's kinda dull compared to my other Favorit in my opinion...But I'm totally in Liebe with the lyrics like
'One heart
Tenderly beating
Ever entreating
Constant and true'

20. Part of Your World (Reprise)
This song is quick, simple, but very sweet. It shows Du don't need to have a lot of metaphors and poetic devices to convey what Du want. Ariel expresses her desire to become human so clearly and plainly in this song, just Von the emotion and longing she conveys, and Von just putting it into simple sentences.

"...the reprise is just unforgettable and beautiful." (TotallyMe105)
"Part of Your World Reprise is epic." (AllegroGiocoso)

While the Princess Party line of DVD's had the goal of accompanying Disney Princess-themed parties, the Princess Stories line has the much Mehr general purpose of serving as everyday entertainment for young girls everywhere. As a result, there's a significant dip in quality from the Party line to the Stories line. We're going to take and look and see just how bad that decline is!

DVD Content
Just like in my last review, I'll go over all of the categories of the DVD one at a time. But first, it's necessary to talk about the presentation. When Du first pop in the disk, you're shown a young girl's...

Okay so some of Du might have read link. At the time, it seemed to me like there was a group of very intolerant users who would only be offended if I wrote such an article. (Weird, I know, since many people write this Artikel but I still didn't want the tension oder drama.) Since I wasn't sure how to write a "physically beautiful" Liste without offending anyone, I didn't write that Artikel and wrote one that I thought had better ideals: an insgesamt attraction with looks, personality and demeanor combined. That being said, I do Liebe the fairy tale versions of Princesses who were always the "most...

As I mentioned in its first part that this Artikel is for those princesses who got their wedding in original oder a sequel. I have re-imagined the gowns for all the princesses as honestly, I don't quite like the ones Disney has shown. The dresses lacks the effort as much as they deserve in my opinion. A princess wedding kleid should be thoroughly thought through and designed. Cinderella's and Mulan's are Von far the only wedding dress that actually fits their personality the most, in my opinion.

So here's my selection of the re-imagined wedding gowns for the remaining princesses.

1. Cinderella:

Okay so I have read multiple places on here that "Ariel just left her family for some guy she barely knew" and variations thereof. I coincidentally enough just watched this film within the last Monat and remember it very freshly so I would like to contribute my opinion on this matter. First though, I would like to remind people: These Disney Princess films do not take place in a modern time and setting. Most of them take place over a 100 years Vor and are during a time when most people were dead Von 40 and half weren't even making it that long. To put it in perspective, the equivalent of a woman...
