♥ Please keep in mind: this is an opinion article, feel free to disagree. But also remember, my opinion is superior to yours.

10. Dr. Facilier

Definitely the weakest DP villain in my opinion. I spent the first half of the movie unsure of what his goal and motivation was. He just kind of seemed like a creepy hobo who lurks about and casts Zufällig voodoo spells. He kind of seemed like an after-thought in the grand scheme of the story, there was no great climactic battle. His scene in which he tries to tempt Tiana is basically pointless because we know that the princess would never just hand over her prince to be killed Von the villain like that. It helps Zeigen Tiana's character development, but it's not very suspenseful of a scene. His song was good but kind of long when Du consider the fact the audience doesn't really understand why he's doing anything he does.

9. Ratcliffe

He's kind of scary and funny at the same time. When he says "I'd help ya to dig boys, but I've got this crick in me spine" I always laugh. His outfit is kind of funny because it's very feminine on an extremely large manly body. His voice is intimidating but again, he's kind of an after-thought of a villain. The villain in Pocahontas is Mehr the metaphorical villain that is war and hatred rather than this greedy douchebag alone.

8. Shan-Yu

He has some very chilling lines and is physically intimidating. All in all, he doesn't make a huge impression on me though. He is above the other two for his ability to kill and conquer and his Design is very creepy and dark.

7. Jafar

A Fan favourite among DP villains, I like him a lot. He is very sinister and sly and perverted. He obviously has a taste for S&M and is a power-hungry sociopath. He keeps his cool and only when he gains power does he laugh and vividly demonstrate what a psychotic twisted madman he truly is. I find him to be a painfully obvious villain though and there's nothing particularly unique about his brand of villainy which is why he's not in the oben, nach oben section of the list.

6. The Queen

She is very intimidating to me. I find her elegance and icy reserved yet commanding presence very haunting. She is just so severe looking, Du can feel the hatred sizzling out of her towards Snow White. She seems like an emotionless sociopath of a ruler. Only when she becomes the equally terrifying hag does she dispose of her composure and reveal the twisted joy she gets out of torturing and killing and burying people alive. She also has that transformation scene in the dungeon which is one of the trippiest, most disturbing scenes in Disney history to me. The direction in that scene is very horror-like. And when she first darkens the window and is smiling at Snow White in hag-form. I'm surprised Snow White didn't pepper-spray her for that look alone!

5. Lady Tremaine

Now this is one twisted sicko. Who derives that much joy from torturing a kindhearted young person? She is abusing a child and literally does it for fun! Her motive is so sickening and vapid. She doesn't want anyone prettier oder nicer than her daughters to have any self-esteem! The way she raises Cinderella's hopes for the fun of it shows that it's not just about keeping Aschenputtel from a night out - she loves seeing the optimism and faith leave Cindy's eyes. It gives her a satisfied giggle. She's so horrible! When she locks Aschenputtel up, the smug look on her face is SO horrid! She is one of the meanest villains I've ever seen in a Disney movie. Her actions are unforgivable. I find it very compelling when DP villains aren't magical and Zeigen the true dark side of human nature rather than being Supernatural embodiments of evil.

4. Maleficent

She looks cool, she's elegant, she's graceful. She's the Queen of darkness. There's something fashionable and cool about her that no one cares to admit they admire. She just seems sure of herself and I Liebe the way she commands the room in her first scene. She is a bit of a stereotypical demon villain but the fact that she's a very feminine, demure one makes her a first for Disney. She also has a really sick sense of humour with keeping Philip locked up but letting him go. Villains like Ratcliffe would just kill Philip if he didn't want Aurora to awaken. It's the really scary ones like Maleficent who keep Du alive to suffer for a good laugh. It's not just about keeping her prophecy alive, she actually enjoys human suffering.

3. Mother Gothel

I was very impressed with the most Kürzlich DP villain. She has a great song and reprise and one of the most compelling princess-villain relationships ever in a Disney movie! It really disturbs me on a new level for Disney. That scene where she brushes toddler Rapunzel's hair and speaks to her in that motherly voice. She actually is the most manipulative sociopath yet! She is able to deceive a young girl into thinking she loves her! And apparently she has deceived a lot of Fans too! Trust me, abusive sociopaths can fake affection to a tee if it means it'll be easier to keep what they want - but no loving person would imprison an innocent baby for life so that she can exploit her for her own gain! NO ONE. She is unforgivable and it shows what a great job Disney did Von the fact some Fans of Rapunzel – Neu verföhnt actually Frage her motives and mistake it for love.

2. Ursula

She's sassy, fun, unique looking, a cool mythical creature. She has an incredible song. She uses some of the most clever deception and manipulation to get what she wants. And all at the same time, there's something kind of likeable about her as well. When she turns into a giant, it's scary. Imagine how Eric feels...being a human in the middle of the stormy ocean with a giant creature with a magic trident trying to kill Du and your girlfriend! Ursula is a great villain, she's just so memorable and easily my favourite female villain!

1. Gaston

Great song, great villain. Again, I Liebe villains who expose the dark side of human nature and not just Supernatural embodiments of evil. It's scary how Gaston transforms throughout the film. If Belle wasn't as strong a character and was less bold and brave, he literally would have gotten away with blackmailing a woman and raping her and keeping her prisoner essentially for life! And on oben, nach oben of that, NO ONE in the town would know how evil he is because he hides it underneath a charming exterior! I find that VERY threatening! Some people seem to think Gaston is a joke of a villain...um, he's trying to rape a woman and keep her as a sex slave! Disney uses "marry" to convey that he wants to force her to have sex with him seven nights a week for the rest of her life and he is unbothered Von the fact she doesn't want to! I think Gaston inspired this type of villain we saw later in Disney like Frollo and even Jafar to a degree. How far would he have gone to get his way? He says "Belle is mine!" to the Beast, it sounds to me like no matter how many times she says no, he will stop at nothing to force her to be his. He has sociopathic sense of humour as well, he actually looks joyful when Maurice is being locked up even after Belle has rejected him. He likes seeing someone suffer because he knows it hurts someone who won't have sex with him! He's also terrifying because he's so popular, he has the power here. He can easily make Belle and Maurice, the town rejects, look crazy to force his will on them. All in all, he's my favourite Disney Princess villain. And he's devilishly handsome too, I must say.
“Rapunzel” is the kind of story that consistently ranks highly in people’s lists of their Favorit fairy tales. With a dramatic plot, interesting characters, symbolic motifs, and the underlying theme of the redeeming power of love, the tale certainly seems to deserve such adoration. Grimm’s version of the story is perhaps the most known retelling,
 Grimm's Rapunzel
Grimm's Rapunzel
although that may have changed as of 2010 with Disney’s adaptation, Tangled, a movie just as rife with symbolism as its literary inspiration. Although both are variations on the Rapunzel narrative, Disney’s movie veers...

I, myself only knew 8 out of 24. Who knows, Du might know Mehr than me oder know less than me. Either way enjoy Lesen and absorb the knowledge!

Trivia

1) Art director Brian McEntee color-keyed Belle so that she is the only person in her town who wears blue. This is symbolic of how different she is from everyone else around. Later, she encounters the Beast, another misfit, also wearing blue and with blue eyes. It symbolized good in the film whereas red symbolized evil (the color of Gaston's hemd, shirt is red). A notable exception to this code is Gaston's blue eyes - making him the only Disney villain...

So I Liebe Disneyland and Disneyworld and I Liebe their Princess-themed attractions. That being said, I always thought it would be really cool if there were Mehr things at the park pertaining specifically to the Princesses as I am a huge fan! <3 So I thought I'd try to see if I could figure out some form of new attraction (ride, shop, restaurant, etc.) for each DP film. I hope Du guys enjoy!

After seeing Sweetie94's prettiest Disney princess list, I wanted to make one of mine as well. I'm not really a Fan of the beauty of modern princesses, I find them rather too doll types, somehow. So they are all ranking low on my list. Hope you'll enjoy it, here it goes:

13. Elsa:
Eh, are her eyes for real? Way too big on her face and her lips are so thin. She does have that Barbie doll kind of look to her. She has an unbalanced face proportion, her upper portion of face is too big as compared to the lower portion and that gives her an unnatural look, imo. I quite like her hair though, snow blonde,...

Unlike my Favorit Disney Princess Liste this Liste hasn't changed so much, but I still felt like Schreiben an Artikel about this because not only has it changed, it's also been a while since the last time I wrote this article. I find all the princesses pretty, but I have prefrences, for example I prefer the Mehr realistic looking princesses so don't be surprised if most of the bottom placements are the cartoony looking princesses. Anyway enjoy this article

13. Jasmine

I've never really found jasmin beautiful, she's pretty though. If I where to base this on color scheme only she would be much...

Last time I wrote this Liste Merida - Legende der Highlands and Frozen hadn't been released so now I'll write this Liste with them included, hope you'll like it

12. Pocahontas

This scene is amazing to look at, no wonder many people loves this ending, but why is it then last on my list? While it's an amazing scene to look at it isn't a happy ending, normally I don't mind it, but Disney is known for making happy endings so honestly if this movie was made Von another company and was live action I probably would Liebe the ending more

11. Mulan

This ending starts off great with Mulan reuniting with her father and Shang...

So here is the Part 2 to my musical countdown: Scores. I Liebe Disney Musik and I honestly Liebe the scores over the songs. They have all of the "magic Disney" feel that I absolutely adore. Also, I Liebe how the scores can provide a blend of the different songs from it's respective films as well as stir up all of the emotions and/or memories from it's respective scene(s). For those reasons, this Liste was much harder for me to make than Part 1: Songs, but I managed to finish! As I mentioned before, I cannot get enough from the musical team of Alan Menken and Howard...

So many times have I heard that Disney Princess Filme are for little girls who wish upon a fairy godmother, want to be rescued Von a handsome prince and live happily ever after. This is so not true and doubt all those who have opinions like this, if they have ever watched any DP movie seriously. So here's my 5 reasons why adults should consider Disney Princess Filme as serious entertainment

5. Animation Art:

Ok so I saw a talented user here post an Artikel about the Bechdel Test and being the Walt geek that I am, was immediately inspired to do a Walt Disney Test.

Walt Disney was unfortunately only alive to fully see over the production and release of Snow White, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty which are known as the "Classic Princesses". For this reason, I took everything in common that I could find with these 3 princesses for relevancy to rate the others. The 14 commonalities I found were: 1.) Beautiful Face 2.) In Shape Body 3.) Soft/Sweet Speaking Voice 4.) Singen Voice 5.) Dance Scene [Solo...

Tiana- The Under-rated

When Princess and the Frog came out it got people talking. Not only is Tiana a trailblazer for being the first African American Princess, but she was the first princess to independently have jobs and dedication to pursue a realistic career, I get that not every little girl dreams of having a business and they’d rather have the sparkly kleid but I had hopes that Tiana would inspire them to come up with realistic goals. But .......she was not as loved as I thought . Also , some people ( SOME ONLY ) dislike her for her color tone !!!!!!!

Mulan- The Very Underrated

What if all of the Disney Princesses were American and lived in American cities? Which ones would they choose to live in? (*Note, I comprised this Liste of where they would want to live as a free choosing adult, not where they would have been born and raised. That is another list.)

Snow White: Phoenix, Arizona
Because there is a large elderly population there so Snow could help them like she did the dwarves. She is also a conservative princess that I think would enjoy living out under the stars in a Mehr traditional place.
