Today I got bored and decided to do a oben, nach oben 40 of my current Favorit Disney songs.
They are mainly songs from The Disney Classics canon, but I have also included some songs from Disney sequel films.

Invader-Tak Don't you like Love Will Find a Way (Lion King 2) or any song from the Nightmare Before Christmas? Great list though!

HecateA I love the Hercules soundtrack! And Something there from Beauty in the Beast is awesome too. But I did notice "Colors of the Wind" wasn't in there.

dobbyssocks I liked everything on the list. Great Job. (but i think 19 is "why should I worry?") I think the list is great though and as i was reading it the songs were playing in my head

magicfairydust woot hercules! i always think this movie is sooo underrated. its just so freaking amazing! i LOVE won't say im in love and go the distance. Lyrics are flawless and music is just so beautiful

MrsDisney27 Those are some of my favorite Disney songs,but I really like God Help the Outcasts(Hunchback of Notre Dame), Heaven's Light/Hellfire(Hunchback of Notre Dame),and Jack's Lament(Nightmare Before Christmas).

yaybunnies ^ you're right, the hunchback songs should definitely be on there, but i don't think Nightmare Before Christmas is disney. and hecatea, what are you talking about? colors of the wind is #9. this is a great list.

Simba always knew that he was going to succeed his father, Mufasa, as the Weiter Lion King. But fate liked spitting in poor little Simba's face, and his dear old dad got trampled to death Von wildebeests. Of course, Mufasa's death was really caused Von the evil Scar, Simba's uncle.

What is "Classic Disney?"

Ah, the Frage that everyone who has stumbled upon this spot has surely asked themselves. It's been asked in Umfrage form multiple times. There have been many discussions on the subject.

The spot Motto defines a Disney Classic as "anything before the Pixar era", making the cutoff 1996, when Toy Story premiered.

Most of the picks/polls about the subject have Pocahontas (1995) oder Tarzan (1998) in the lead.

Some Fans believe that only the films on the official Liste of Disney Animated Classics are true classics.

Truth is, there is no definite answer, because a Disney Classic means something different...
