That was the Frage Jesus asked the women at the well, as Du read in John 4:7. Why would Jesus need man to do him a favor in the first place? Is He not the Almighty God who can do whatever He wants? So why would He need to ask a foreign women to give Him some water? Why would He ask Du for a favor today?
You can respond like so many others do and say 'just leave me alone, I don't need you' and he probably would. Du look at him just like one of these annoying insurance sales men that really don't want to leave Du alone until they got Du to either buy something from them oder throw something...
