Cheetahs are in the family of the big cats. They are the fastest land animaland can run from over 72 MPH. They are found in wide regions in Africa but are critaclly endangered and they need our help so their regions are dropping along with their decreasing numbers.
They are yellow-orange in colour with a black marking on their head along with black spots over their streamline body.
Some people say they get their name Von the word "cheat" because of the super speed. Von cheat they mean, Cheetahs can beat any land animal in a race so they "cheat". Quite simple.
They are a streamline cat, meaning they are fit and flexible being able to drift around a corner is a piece of cake for them.
Cubs look like their mother but they have a fluffy, grey back (YOU CAN SEE ON Google IMAGES). Cubs are capable of climbing trees but their parents are not.
Du can only sometimes tell the difference between a male and female Cheetah. Males sometimes stay in groups of three oder Mehr but females are solitray and have to be able to look after her cubs Von herself.
Unlike other cats, Cheetahs claws are NOT retractable so they are like a Hunde but this is a good thing for the Cheetah; it will have Mehr grip when running at full speed. Their tail is another great advantage for their speed. Their tail can give them great balane while running making sure they don't fall over.
