Spuffy, and I'm tired of some people even comparing the two pairings right now.
Delena/Spuffy No Comparisons: Damon snapped Elena's brother's neck, turned bio mother into vampire.
Spike, close with both Dawn and Joyce, actually had an close relationship with Joyce because he did with Buffy.

I love this quote from James Masters: "I think it's good to have Spike and Dawn together, because it shows Spike's mindset. Which is that anyone who Buffy loves is very important. So, he will protect anyone Buffy loves. Don't hurt Buffy. Don't hurt anyone that's important to her. Keep them safe."

With Damon, it's don't hurt Elena, and that's it. With Spike, he knows if someone close to her is hurt, it hurts her. So he doesn't want her to ever be hurt.

Also Damon, it's forward, then 20 steps backwards.
Spike just had to hurt Buffy once in Season 6, to realize he need to change. Which he did, got a soul to be an better person for Buffy.
With Damon it's Season 4, and I'm sure he'll make another mistake and that'll be all it. Elena will forgive him, like nothing happened. That's their whole relationship, Damon does something crazy, Elena understands it and moves on.

With Spike & Buffy it took an realistic build for them, especially for Buffy to even love him... to even trust him.

With Elena, how in the hell did she love him so quickly after everything he's done is an mystery for me. Also what is worst is that it's season 4 of TVD, which according to the episodes/writing/writers has only been a little over an year. Season 3 is when it finally hit a whole year of TVD.

Spuffy had took six long years to build, Buffy started to care for Spike within four to five years.. and I'll say started to fall in love with him during the sixth.
Delena just took an unrealistic year. I blame it on the writers though, they have to write the show way better.

sorry, but none of them. I'm a fan of Bangel when it comes to BTVS and fan of Stelena when it comes to TVD ;p Just cant stand Spuffy either Delena...

Similar to Nevermind. I'm a Bangel fan and I didn't watch more than one season of TVD.
