I and many other people have theories about the Spuffy relationship but I have looked further into it re-watching every detail and hitting the fast vorwärts-, nach vorn and rewind buttons excessively to get all the info I need...
Anyone remember that moment in "Innocence" where Spike and Angelus are talking and Spike asks why Angelus won't just kill Buffy already and he says "To kill her Du have to Liebe her"? In "Becoming" where Spike and Buffy in a way Mitmachen forces against Angelus to get Dru back he develops some feeling for her at least for a Sekunde she invited him into her Home and in Lover's walk again...
