7 Seconds of New BLACK VEIL BRIDES Sounds Like… PANTERA?!?

I'm not exactly a big Black Veil Brides fan, although their collaboration with Bob Rock on their last album proved to be a fruitful one. Anyway the LA-based hard rock band are working on their fifth album right now and today they posted a seven-second teaser.

And, I don't even have anything negative to say, it sounds like a fun Pantera-style riff:

A riff is one thing, but can this song hold up for the entire three minutes? What about the vocals? What will they sound like? It's too soon to make the call here, we'll wait until a proper single is out before we make our final decision.

it sounds like a mix of use my third arm (part that starts at 2:31) and the domination breakdown to me.

tbh it sounds better than Pantera. Honestly, who cares about grandpa metal?

Not better, very similar. lol @ grandpa metal… to be honest too, you have a VERY valid argument right-there my friend cummingInADoritaBag, grandpa metal goes out to all the old school metal bands that just won't quit it, that are STILL playing they way they sounded like when they started (slightly changed, but similar), and thats because maybe they started something that just won't quit with them overnight. they started this movement of awesome music that no one will forget, and we want more, because we tend to be obsessive people. (me)

We gotta hand it to them man, they still out there kicking ass touring and shit that just when someone new comes up, they're immediately compared and judged, like if they now deserve this throne of METAL SKULLS with golds and bitches everywhere (and not just women, in general)

now when you compare (yourself?) is when you are afraid of something inside of you that makes you scared and you start noticing your flaws, what you lack, but you never count your strengths, your blessings, etc. that lack of confidence in oneself is what breaks you as a unit. But we shouldn't be like that. comparisons is what makes us miserable inside we should also have growing opportunities. we have to make ourselves feel better with what we have inside of us and stop wanting that same thing, there gotta be something different…. peace bro, long live the metal and the grandpa too =)

I saw 7 Seconds then read a little further. Very Disappointing to see the name of this band behind that.

I have never heard anything else this band have made. If i were to make a decision only based on these 7 seconds if i'm a fan or not, i would definatly be a fan. But the way people talk about them and other ques makes me think that they're not usually like this…
