Some say its an emotion as Liebe is a feeling brought out from ourselves about someone which is true
Some would say its a choice because ultimately it is what we like about a person that influence our ability to like someone which is perhaps also true
My answer to this Frage is that Liebe is both an emotion and a choice.
The reason for that is that Liebe is not purely emotion and is not simply something felt out of sense because ultimately we have to choose whether to embrace this feeling towards someone to fully recognize them as your loved one oder reject this feeling which will end with Du forgetting it in time.
In conclusion Liebe is neither purely emotion oder choice and is combination of both as both emotion and choice are factors in determining who Du Liebe
