MelodyLaurel I'm guessing modern. Mattel decided to change BMs direction to "more modern, fashionable movies" so I doubt it'll be medieval, though I'd love it to be. Besides, look at those purple lockers. As far as I know, there are no such lockers during the old times.

Barbie in the Nutcracker's Origins:
Barbie in the Nutcracker is based on The Nutcracker - a Russian ballet originally choreographed Von Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov with a score Von Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (op. 71). The ballet was based on The Nutcracker and the maus King - a story Von German Romantic Autor E. T. A. Hoffmann.
