Is anyone here an adult beginner? (16+ when Du started?)

I just turned 17 on thursday, I bought my slippers today, and I'll be starting in an open adult beginner class in the Weiter couple months.
I'm really nervous, could anyone please give me Guter Rat on what it'll be like oder how I could prepare?
