I think most of you are forgetting that all your favorite characters will probably have kids, which will probably be similar in personality. I think this will be awesome if they go through with it.

It will be interesting to see how this turns out. At least it is taking place in the future, but that could also mean some of the old characters could be in it since it takes place 70 years after the original series. As with all things, I'm excited/nervous about it. But hey, if Pixar could make 3 4-star Toy Story movies, then a good spinoff of ATLA is possible.

I'm extremely excited! I just hope they don't mess it up. The problem with a new series is that it has to live up to the original series, but it can't just be a rehash with all the same character types and all the same relationships, or it would be pointless.

It probably won't be as good without the original characters.

^^not necessarily. Sokka would only be about 86. I don't get why everyone thinks all the cast is dead. They would only be in their 80's. The only one we know for sure is dead is Aang. Oh, and obviously all the older characters like Piandao, Jeong Jeong, Bumi, Pakku, Cabbages Guy, and *sniff* IROH!

Soo sad that most of my fave characters will probaly be dead. :( But i'm so ecited they are making a new series! I new that Avatar was gonna come back after the terrible Last Airbender movie! YAY!
