This Size 2 'Pretty Little Liars' Was Told She Was Too Fat 

star Ashley Benson spoke out about how she was body-shamed and required to lose weight for certain roles.

“I get told all the time to lose weight,” she said. “I’m just sitting here like, ‘Wait, what? Do you want a skeleton?’” 26-year-old Ashley Benson decided that she could control how she responded to the critiquing of her physical appearance.  “I don’t want to lose 20 lbs., because I don’t need to,” she said. “I’m a size 2, but I think that size 4 is healthy. I think that all of these sizes are healthy.”

A US size 2 is NZ size 6. I’m not sure how anyone can perceive a size 6 to be too fat.

Celebrities who have previously spoken out about these unrealistic beauty standards of Hollywood have more often than not buckled under the pressure and have shed weight. Hopefully Benson will maintain this perspective and not succumb to depressing diets in order to achieve something unnatural.
