I'm Curious

EPaws I am genuinely curious. Every now and then someone pops on in various iterations and wonders how the new morning routine will go re waking the King now that he is married. I am still trying to figure out why, this is such a big wonder and two, just knock. What is the big deal? Maybe I am missing something but I am not sure why this is such a huge topic for some particularly as it doesn't actually relate to conversations re a story arc or anything. So Merlin knocks. Why is that so hard to envision? I am clueless on this.

famfan Humm...Now that you mention it, other than the one scene where Merlin walks in on an intimate moment....nothing. Wait, maybe something to do with the acknowledgement that Arthur is married? Arthur did a lot of talking to Merlin in his chambers, they may want to know how Gwen is going to figure into that.....that all I can come up with.

2Sam11 well it`s easy --- the merthurs just want to know how it all work out in the new season! since some or the most "sexual innuendo" scenes between merlin and arthur play in his chamber! and never forget the morning scenes! --- the arwenities want to know how it all work out 2! since we wait for some sexual innendo as well! and the normal king&queen life! -- i think there is soooo much talk about it because the merthurs are a little bit scared that arwen will take to much screentime! and they are scared that more arwen scenes will play in arthurs chambers (and less merthur scenes)! -- (i know that because some merthur`s discussed that topic under some arwen-scenes on youtube) -------------------------------------------- I don`t know if that is what you mean since i lately don`t read any conversation about that topic! But 1 thing is clear the merthurs will be really pissed -- because i`m sure that merthur-scenes will be overshadowed by arwen-scenes at least in arthur`s chamber! (That would be normal since she is his WIFE and merlin is just his FRIEND but it would not surprise me when the writers dissapoint me again) I understand the merthur`s good because the merlin/arthur morning scenes were important for their "sexuelle imagination" -- but i honestly think we arwen-fans waited long enough for some more arwen scenes in arthur`s chamber!!

EPaws The upshot of what all of you are saying is this is agenda driven. Thank you. I honestly never thought of that. My brain doesn't work that way. Not even being facetious. It just seems perfectly natural my conclusion. I really am not one to bother with 'ists, 'ites and itises and agendas. Write me something either amusin, or indepth and I will always go with it, sans a problem. I keep forgetting the predispositions and general maturity level of the query bound.

HumbleQueen Yup. Sam hit it. Those chamber scenes have been precious to them, and as for us, we've been hungry for some. So hence, the concern and talk about how things will change. We'll be watching closely how they do this. They better not do that one thing they could do to essentially have their cake and eat it too. I'm not even going to voice it. They better do it right, especially after Arthur to his father in 2x06 : "How many nights did you share a bed with a troll?"
