lv2rt Her hand is in her face and I bet she doesn't even realize it. If she does, she's showing it off and that's not something you do the way she's doing it. But I would bet she doesn't realize it one bit. This action is so unusual that this move seals it for me.

HumbleQueen She's definitely doing it unconsciously. Like I keep saying, Angel does things with her hands when she's nervous. Obviously, lest I get accused of making knowledgeable statements about someone I don't know personally, which I really don't want to do, I should say I don't know that for certain because I don't know her, but from my observations, she SEEMS to have been quite nervous her last few outings. That is, excluding the one on one interview at BFI where she seemed comfortable IMO.

MISAforever I think so too! Pretty nervous indeed. I was telling that to my sister just while ago. i don't get it why, she was brilliant!!

11rod88staff11 This is a fascinating observation for several reasons.... it runs SO parallel to the actual show when Bradley and Gwen are separated after her enchanted betrayal of him. In The Hunter's Heart... the entire time she wears the ring he gave her around her neck and is always constantly touching it and fiddling with it in her fingers to represent that she can't stop thinking about him. (such compelling closeup camera pans of this poignant action). And then when Gwen is unconscious in the woods, Morgana rips the ring on its string from her neck and then Arthur rides through and finds it on the ground and he brings it home and then there are so many angsty closeups of him holding the ring in his fingers, spinning it, rubbing it, heart torn out thinking of her. It's as if the show and real life are colliding or at least guiding us in how to recognize deeper meaning in these actions. I just re-watched two other interviews with all four of them, the first being the couch interview that came with Season 5 and there are also distinct chunks of time in the interviews where Angel's fiddling with her ring on her finger, twisting it, sliding it up and down on her finger (it does seem kind of loosely fitting). Mindblowingly, there's this segment where the interviewer asks them to talk about something the audience might like to know about each of them and Angel is playing with her ring ONLY when they're all discussing Bradley. (She starts right when they're finishing talking about Katie and moving onto Bradley) and she stops distinctly before they move onto Colin.....
