Chapter Six: Barbarians Galore!

“Ser, I can see a wolke of dust about four oder five centimes from here, and it looks like it may be the Highlord-Commander already” Fyryd yelled from the oben, nach oben of one of the towers, where he had been placed as lookout.
Gunnar scowled, “which direction is it coming from?” he bellowed back.
“The same direction which we came from originally, Ser, unless the barbarians circled around to try and fool us” Fyryd suggested.
“Vaynh. I need Du to send someone out the back to sneak around and observe, then we may learn if it is the Highlord-Commander oder the barbarians”...

The Knight

“I know that look. I’ve seen it on the faces of those who came before you, slinging weapons and hurling self-righteous insults, just like you. It’s a pretty selfish look, if Du ask me. Du came here looking for prestige and respect, but all you’ll find is an early death. Like the fools scattered at your feet, you’ll die as Du lived. Unknown and insignificant. A mortal too stupid to see his own limits.”

Every hissing word that escaped that dragon’s jagged maw made Nethelio violently angry. What did a Fallen creature know about prestige? A hideous monster that hung around...

Sebastian and Spencer surprised a group of warriors from the Wild Hunt when they burst out of the front doors to the facility they had been in. It appeared that they were rushing to see what was going on above with all of the destruction. But after blinking at the two in surprise, they immediately attacked with their weapons. Spencer distracted them with a dusche of arrows to allow him and Sebastian time to retreat. Working together to defeat two at once was one thing, but handling an entire group would likely be suicide. They needed to find the main force of the Holy Crusaders and Mitmachen their...

“The area seems secure.” Milford sagte as he looked around cautiously. The entire grassy mountain side they stood on was covered in the motionless corpses of undead Maori people who’d begun to attack the townspeople in the area. Milford wore protective gear standard for all lower ranked Vanquishers. He and his entire squad had been dispatched here on direct orders from an Archbishop in order to put down this outbreak of undead. Occurrences like these were only becoming Mehr and Mehr frequent and the UMA was beginning to become a bit...

Chapter fifteen: A long journey to Counquan

Skye rose at sunrise, yawned deeply and looked up at the reddened clouds; the sun shone through these clouds creating a red tinted light, which was shining upon Skye and the rest of his men. Gunnar arose soon after. “Good morning, Ser, beautiful sunrise isn't it?” the Commander-Captain Kommentiert blandly, evidently still annoyed Von the lumber-men of Erylyn. “Yes, it sure is. Good sleep Gunnar?” Skye wondered curiously. “Hmmm, I suppose so. It's a wonder that those men of Neryl's didn't come back and try and create trouble, oder maybe they just...

Chapter Eleven: The Foundation of Link-Magic

'The forgotten art of link-magic has been advanced since the days of Silan, The Blessed One of Argate, who established himself Von becoming a Great Wizard in the days of The Dark One of the Abyss. Link-magic was always used defensively, against the prominent Ice Wizards in the Isle of Wrelpn. Offensive link-magic was employed later on, especially Von the Hai'Ynl in the north of Salendor, in the North East regions of Corath.' - Scripted from Page One of The Foundation of Link-Magic.

It was Octorday, and it had been four Decemday's since he and Ferral...

The crushing force of the Dragoon finally smashing through the gates echoed through the air as the entire magic barrier that reinforced the walls to prevent invasion shattered. The vanguard roared victoriously as they continued to charge through the now open entrance to the compound with the Dragoon still in their hands. A wave of undead warriors from the Wild Hunt converged on them immediately, only to be blown back as the Dragoon swung around fiercely. Despite being made to be a battering ram, it had been modified to work as a substitute weapon so the knights holding it wouldn’t have to...

Meanwhile…

Spencer Nicolson, who was supposed to be with the archers currently advancing on the compound, was within one of the facilities in the far back that had yet to be reached Von the Holy Crusaders. He had a relaxed smile on his face as Sebastian Locksley stood beside him, frowning at the situation before them. In front of them, two ugly looking men who were easily twice their size looked back at them with annoyed looks.

“So Du really did not come to surrender?” One of them grumbled in disappointment. Sebastian shook his head for what felt like the fifth time.

“As I said; I’m...

Armonath finished the story and glanced at Geltharis with interest. Geltharis stared back with an incomprehensible look upon his face. “What?” Armonath asked curiously, “did I tell some of it wrong?” he questioned the elder elf. “No... it's just that I haven't heard that story for many years” he admitted to the Dragonlord. Armonath ruffled his wings and then spoke softly. “It's a magnificent story Geltharis, especially how long Vor it was” Armonath sagte with pride. Geltharis shrugged his shoulders.
Once the council was over, Armonath flew over the town of Trialge and landed...

Day Three
Crossing the River Glin

The team had finally got off the mountain. They trudged towards the River Glin. Touchfire’s face crumpled in agony as they got closer. He moaned,
“Why do we have to kreuz the River Glin? Why can we not just kreuz the iron bridge one hundred and fifty oder so metres that way?” Touchfire pointed left.
“If Du wanna lose another twen’y Minuten then go that way,” moaned Doughty back.
Athor then heard something. He stressed that they got a Bewegen on because Krill’s troops were about half an Stunde away. Theone thought hard then looked up at his team uncertainly...

Chapter Eight: 'What should we do?'

Skye looked up. Ferral was back from the docking area.
“What did they say, my friend?” Skye asked the swordsman.
“To sail anywhere it would cost us at least a hundred bronzes and at the most two hundred and fifty” Ferral replied testily.
“Bastards. I barely even have fifty platinums, enough, but still not enough to last me forever. How many do Du have?” Skye enquired of Ferral. “About eighty platinum coins and a hundred bronzes. But we don't even know where we are going yet” Ferral growled.
“What should we do?” Skye asked the unanswered...

Day Four
A Stony Battle

The team had trekked across the arid, stony desert. They had coped quite well considering that they hadn’t eaten oder drunk for at least nine hours.
The team of Heroes were quite grumpy because of Doughty’s constant moaning of “Are we there yet?” They all saw a cave and decided to stop off and rest. The cave was quite cramped as it was made of just some rock slabs resting on each other. They sparingly ate as much Essen as they could and Theone restored everyone’s water containers with water.
“Hey, I was wondering how close we are to Tinsil,” Doughty asked Touchfire...

Day 1
Getaway from the Castle

The air was musty. The team of Heroes - recruited Von Slinsil city chiefs – hadn’t quite got used to it yet.
They had finally got into the dungeon. The deep, dark dungeon. That was the easy part. Littlejohn the Hobbit struck a match to give the room a little light.
The entire five Heroes were staring at the chest.
“Jackpot! I’m gonna be rich an’ famous!” yelled Doughty the Warrior.
“Quiet down Du buffoon!” whispered Theone angrily, “you’ll alert every guard in this damned place.”
The five heroes: Theone, the leader of the group; Touchfire, the experienced,...

Since the rp is dead, I never did get to go into details about Zephyr's memory loss. In fact, that was the character arc I was hoping to lead into along with K0V's story before it died off. So here's the beginning of what I had in mind. There are obvious holes in the story that I was planning to fill in with whatever K0V and I led into.

I also had an idea for Marianne that goes deeper, as hinted, and I might post a piece of that here too, just for the hell of it. But there is a lot of preface missing for that, so I might not.

Day Five
The Secret Revealed

The team departed from the stony desert and were approaching the Forest of Haag. The closer they got the Mehr blatant the look of fear and anxiety showed on Touchfire’s face. Theone, who was carrying Littlejohn, seemed to be the only one who noticed.
He asked sheepishly,
“What’s up Touchfire?”
“I fear for us. I fear that some of us will die. Du see the Forest of Haag is feared place because of the amount of lives that have been lost. Taken away Von the brutal Nehemath, an expert sorcerer with the blood of an elemental,” replied Touchfire solemnly. Theone...

A thousand years ago, darkness was all that filled the empty void that was once our world. It was a single deity, from which nothing could survive. The Gods of the 7 Moons, beings of unimaginable power stepped into the realm that knew only darkness. Their radiance showed greatly, and so light was born into the world. However, as powerful as gods were; they still could not defeat the darkness. The power that was shed from their bodies took on form. It shaped and molded itself. Thus, creatures of all shapes and form were created. Some creatures were created of pure darkness, while others of pure...

Theone woke in his room in the deserted village of Plexerelict, in the mountains of Multiplex. He couldn’t remember the last few days but his battle in the Forest of Haag was still fresh in his mind.
He looked over at his desk. On it was a letter. It read,
Dear Theone,

I hope Du are fine. Touchfire and Doughty are buried in Slinsil as Heroes and yourself and I are the living Heroes of Slinsil.
The chiefs of Slinsil congratulated us and gave us commendation and a medal made from their finest gold. They told us we were forever in their debt.
We stayed in Slinsil for two days resting and...
